Abstract:
A method of fabricating an extreme ultraviolet (EUV) mask is disclosed. The method includes providing a substrate, forming a reflective multilayer (ML) over the substrate, forming a buffer layer over the reflective ML, forming an absorption layer over the buffer layer and forming a capping layer over the absorption layer. The capping layer and the absorption layer are etched to form the EUV mask.
Abstract:
The present invention is a convertible uni-bicycle, wherein the front end of a bike frame is connected to the outer wall of a head tube using a dismountable structure, and the top end of the head tube is connected to a handlebar using a dismountable structure. The handlebar disposes a brake lever which is connected to an upper brake cable, and the upper brake cable is interconnected to a lower brake cable using a jointing structure. Then, the top end of the bike frame mid-section is connected to a seat post using a dismountable structure, and the bottom end of the bike frame mid-section disposes a driving mechanism which is installed with two dismountable pedals. Thus, the present invention provides a means for the user to convert bicycle into unicycle through easy steps.
Abstract:
Interposer and semiconductor package embodiments provide for the isolation and suppression of electronic noise such as EM emissions in the semiconductor package. The interposer includes shield structures in various embodiments, the shield structures blocking the electrical noise from the noise source, from other electrical signals or devices. The shields include solid structures and some embodiments and decoupling capacitors in other embodiments. The coupling structures includes multiple rows of solder balls included in strips that couple the components and surround and contain the source of electrical noise.
Abstract:
A runtime capability check determines functionality supported by a client application (e.g. a browser) on a computing device. During the runtime capability check, the client application (e.g. the browser) attempts to execute different function tests to determine its capabilities. The result information from the function tests are stored. The stored result information is used by the client application during subsequent connections with the server (e.g. the cookie is passed from the mobile computing device to the server). Based on the supported functionality as determined by the stored result information, the rendering code is adapted for, generated and delivered to the computing device by the server. For example, when the client application supports the tested functionality then the server renders the content using full feature rendering. When the client application does not support all of the tested functionality then the server renders the content using limited feature rendering.
Abstract:
A timing calibration circuit for a time-interleaved analog-to-digital converter (ADC) is provided. The timing calibration circuit includes a correlation unit, an adaptive filter and a delay cell. The correlation unit generates a first correlation coefficient according to a first zero-crossing possibility distribution between a first digital data and a second digital data, and generates a second correlation coefficient according to a second zero-crossing possibility distribution between the second digital data and a third digital data. The adaptive filter generates a predicted time skew according to a difference between the first correlation coefficient and the second correlation coefficient. The delay cell calibrates a clock signal of the ADC according to the predicted time skew.

A platform and a method for dynamic software license are disclosed. The dynamic software license platform comprises a license pool, a register manager, a user configure unit and a license manager. The register manager receives a software application from a user end. The user configure unit grants a setting permission to the user end in response to the software application, and allows the user end to submit a license setting according to the setting permission. The license manager adds the software license provided by the software supplier to the license pool, and dynamically provides the software license from the license pool unit according to the license setting.
Abstract:
Structure of mask blanks and masks, and methods of making masks are disclosed. The new mask blank and mask comprise a tripe etching stop layer to prevent damages to the quartz substrate when the process goes through etching steps three times. The triple etching stop layer may comprise a first sub-layer of tantalum containing nitrogen (TaN), a second sub-layer of tantalum containing oxygen (TaO), and a third sub-layer of TaN. Alternatively, the triple etching stop layer may comprise a first sub-layer of SiON material, a second sub-layer of TaO material, and a third sub-layer of SiON material. Another alternative may be one layer of low etching rate MoxSiyONz material which can prevent damages to the quartz substrate when the process goes through etching steps three times. The island mask is defined on the mask blank by using various optical proximity correction rules.

A MEMS microphone chip with an expanded back chamber includes a first chip unit and a second chip unit. The first chip unit has a first substrate, a vibration membrane layer is formed. above an end of the first substrate, and a space is formed below the vibration membrane layer of the first substrate, so that the vibration membrane layer is suspended above the first substrate to vibrate. The second chip unit has a second substrate to couple with another end of the first substrate, and a groove is formed in the second substrate with. a width larger than that of the space; when the first substrate and the second substrate are coupled together, the groove and the space are connected together to act as the back chamber of the vibration membrane layer.

A dynamic random access memory (DRAM) with multiple thermal sensors disposed therein and a control method for the DRAM. A DRAM in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the invention provides multi-zone temperature detection. The DRAM comprises a plurality of banks, a plurality of thermal sensors and a control unit. The thermal sensors are disposed between the banks. The control unit controls the thermal sensors to obtain sensed temperatures, and sets a self-refresh cycle for all of the banks based on the highest one of the sensed temperatures.
Abstract:
A photomask includes a low thermal expansion material (LTEM) substrate, a patterned opaque layer over the LTEM substrate, and a patterned capping layer over the opaque layer. The patterned capping layer includes a transition metal material for suppressing haze growth, such as metal oxide, metal nitride, or metal oxynitride. The material in the capping layer reacts with a hydrogenic compound from a lithography environment to for an atomic level hydrogen passivation layer. The passivation layer has superior ability to suppress photo-induced haze defect growth on the photomask surface, to improve production cycle time and reduce the production cost.
