Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition comprising a viral antigen, a first protein and a second protein. Optionally, the composition also comprises three different disaccharaides, or, optionally, the composition comprises a primary sugar and at least one, preferably two secondary sugars. The present invention also relates to the use of a viral antigen, a first protein and a second protein for the manufacture of a composition, preferably a vaccine. The present invention furthermore relates to a method of treatment or prevention of virus associates diseases in humans. Moreover, the present invention relates to a method of adapting a virus to a suitable cell-line. The invention is also useful for the production of virus suspensions suitable for making stable, live/inactivated, monovalent and/or polyvalent, liquid/lyophilized rotavirus vaccine compositions for oral and/or nasal or any other suitable route of administration in human.
Abstract:
A bonding method for a filtration unit for bonding a polymeric end cap to a porous filter element body includes providing a polymeric end cap of a filtration unit, providing a porous filter element body and positioning a hot melt adhesive element and a metal element between the porous filter element body and the end cap. A pressure is applied between the porous filter element body and the end cap and an electromagnetic field is induced at the metal element. The hot melt adhesive is melted and flows between the end cap and the porous filter element body and a bond is formed between the porous filter element body and the end cap.
Abstract:
A process to prepare (2E)-2-cyano-3-(3, 4-dihydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)-N,N-diethyl-2-propenamide (Entacapone) eliminating corrosive acids in the purification, with more than 99.5% purity with a Z-isomer content of less than 0.1% comprising condensation of e,4-Dihydroxy{5-nitrobensaldehyde with N,N-diethyl cyanoacetamide in the presence of a base selected from cyclic and acyclic secondary amines and a mixture of solvents, to obtain a crude product, stirring the crude product in a halogenated solvent, filtering and finally crystallization of polymorph A of Entacapone in a solvent.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an improved process for the preparation of thiourea. The object of the present invention is to provide an improved process for the preparation of Thiourea using Calcium Cyanamide, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide. The process of the present invention comprises passing a mixture of Carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide into a slurry formed by addition of major part of calcium cyanamide charge into water using constant stirring, maintaining alkaline pH at a temperature ranging between ambient to 80° C., stopping the addition of hydrogen sulphide, continuing the slow passing of carbon dioxide and addition of remaining part of calcium cyanamide charge and retaining the reaction mass to complete the secondary reactions to form the product for a period ranging from 2-5 hours and continuing passing of carbon dioxide at an increased rate for effecting decomposition of Ca(SH)2 for a period of 1.6 to 6 hours, stopping the addition of carbon dioxide separating thiourea solution, treating the separated solution with activated carbon, removing the carbon by conventional methods, separating the product formed by conventional methods and drying the product at a temperature between 50-70° C. to obtain the product.
Abstract:
A flow restrictor is applied to a respiration-channeling device such as a tracheostomy tube, a mouthpiece, or a face mask. The flow restrictor creates a pressure differential which varies with volume flow rate. A pressure reading is taken on either side of the flow restrictor in the respiration-channeling device and from this, a volume flow rate is determined. A data acquisition device is used to derive further pulmonary function parameters from the volume flow rate.
Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are directed towards a system and methods employed for signal reception by providing programmable and switchable line terminations a universal serial bus physical layer. The system comprising at least one switching unit comprising at least two receiver pad units configured to provide programmable and switchable line terminations for signal reception in the universal serial bus physical layer. The switching unit further comprises at least one current mode logic switching unit interfaced with the receiver pad units. The system further comprises two pairs of receiver pads connected to the receiver pad units configured to receive a plurality of speed signals from at least four transmission units. The receiver pad units are enabled to route the plurality of speed signals to at least one input of a receive amplifier through the current mode logic switching unit.
Abstract:
A method of environmental noise compensation a speech audio signal is provided that includes estimating a fast audio energy level and a slow audio energy level in an audio environment, wherein the speech audio signal is not part of the audio environment, and applying a gain to the speech audio signal to generate an environment compensated speech audio signal, wherein the gain is updated based on the estimated slow audio energy level when the estimated fast audio energy level is not indicative of an audio event in the audio environment and the estimated gain is not updated when the estimated fast audio energy level is indicative an audio event in the audio environment.
Abstract:
In response to a signal failing to exceed an estimated level of noise by more than a predetermined amount for more than a predetermined continuous duration, the estimated level of noise is adjusted according to a first time constant in response to the signal rising and a second time constant in response to the signal falling, so that the estimated level of noise falls more quickly than it rises. In response to the signal exceeding the estimated level of noise by more than the predetermined amount for more than the predetermined continuous duration, a speed of adjusting the estimated level of noise is accelerated.
