Abstract:
A system and method for deferring the loading of user interface (UI) components of a web page. A processing module receives data describing user activities and generates user behavior data for a user in a social network. A component engine generates the data for loading different UI components of the web page. A user behavior module receives the user behavior data and determines an order in which each UI component of the web page is loaded. A loading engine transmits data to a user's browser for loading a static version of the web page and then loads the different UI components according to the order.

A recording medium transport apparatus includes: plural storage units each storing a recording medium; a transport unit that transports the recording medium from one of the storage units to a recording position where an image is recorded on the recording medium; a memory that stores a reference position of a recording medium prescribed for each storage unit; a measuring unit that measures a position of the transported recording medium; and a movement unit that reads the reference position corresponding to the storage unit that stored the transported recording medium, from the memory, and moves the recording medium according to the difference between the reference position and the measured position such that the position of the recording medium approaches the reference position when the recording medium is located upstream of the recording position in the transport direction thereof.

An UI section receives a printing parameter set by a user. A data reading section reads a printing parameter from an original paper. An image reading section reads an image from the original paper. When an IC chip has been attached to the original paper, a parameter selecting section selects a printing parameter thereof, whereas in other cases, the parameter selecting section selects a printing parameter, which is set by the user. An image processing section and a printing control section execute an image processing operation and a printing operation in accordance with the selected printing parameter.
Abstract:
When a printing paper to which an IC chip storing secret information is attached is discarded, a shredder applied voltage to the IC chip by a discharging unit to destroy the IC chip and to make it impossible to read the secret information therefrom. Thereafter, a shredding cutter shreds the printing paper and the shred printing paper is discarded.

A system and method provide a cursor tool framework and tool server with support for multiple cursors on any given system, and supports the selection of a cursor tool utilizing a cursor. The framework and server facilitate the association of cursor tools to a cursor in a process independent space such that tools can be used cross-process and cross-document. The framework also provides default functionality for communication among cursor tools and the canvas on which they are used. This high degree of interaction allows any cursor tool and any document to function together such that the cursor tool can be written without the knowledge of the document developer.
Abstract:
A lubrication boosting additive comprising a mixture of a fluororesin, which is an alternating copolymer of a fluoroolefin and vinyl ether, soluble in an organic solvent and a phthalic ester in an organic solvent. The amounts of the organic solvent and the phthalic acid are, respectively, from 50 to 500 parts by weight and from 1 to 50 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the fluororesin. The additive is added to lubricating oils in an amount of from 0.1 to 10 g, calculated as the fluororesin, per liter of the lubricating oil.
