摘要: A current mirror circuit comprises first and second lateral-type bipolar transistors having first and second conductive films each formed via an insulation film, on the portion of the surface of a base region between an emitter region and a collector region. The first and second emitter regions and the first and second collector regions formed in the surface region of the base region separately from each other. A diode is used as a bias circuit. The diode applies a bias voltage corresponding to the output current of the first transistor, that is, the reference current, to the first and second conductive films of the first and second transistors, so that the width of the channel formed in a base region is changed in accordance with the reference current, and therefore the current amplification rate of each transistor can be maintained at a high value even if a large operation current is supplied.

摘要: A differential amplifier circuit of the present invention includes a device ("transistor") having a back gate electrode formed above the base region of a bipolar transistor between the emitter and collector regions. The back gate electrode of one such transistor is connected to the collector or emitter of another transistor in order to provide positive feedback so that the operation of each transistor is enhanced. The operational speed of the transistors is increased and the amplification factor of the differential amplifier circuit is improved to provide stabilized circuit operation. Accordingly, the degree of circuit integration and the operational stability of the differential amplifier are enhanced as compared with a differential amplifier circuit constructed of conventional bipolar transistors or FETs.

摘要: A connector examining device in which a retainer for attaching a terminal within a housing can be pushed into the housing simultaneous with an examination of a connector. When a lever is pulled up, a cam comes in contact with a trailing end surface of a detector portion. This allows the detector portion to slide toward a connector receiving portion. After the detector portion is in contact with the connector receiving portion, the connector receiving portion and the detector portion together are further displaced. At this time, a retainer pusher, fixed to a base, pushes into the housing the retainer temporarily engaged with the housing of the connector held by the connector receiving portion. Thus, the retainer and the terminal within the housing are engaged with one another, and the terminals are engaged with the housing.

摘要: A multi-axial fabric constructed as a triaxial fabric including oblique warp yarns running of different directions which are interwoven with weft yarns, and straight warp yarns at selected fabric locations interwoven with the weft yarns to form a quart axial fabric. At all of the locations where the oblique warp yarns are crossed with each other, the oblique warp yarns and the weft yarns are interwoven with each other. In addition, the straight warp yarns which are interwoven with the weft yarns are also interwoven with the oblique warp yarns.

摘要: A connector inspecting apparatus includes (i) a connector receiving portion for holding a connector which is to be inspected and which has a terminal and (ii) an inspecting portion having a detecting piece corresponding to the terminal. The inspecting apparatus is arranged for inspecting the connector by moving the connector receiving portion and the inspecting portion toward and away from each other. One of the connector receiving portion and the inspecting portion is rotatably attached to a base. The other of the receiving portion and the inspecting portion is so guided as to be moved toward and away from the rotatably attached portion. When either of the receiving or inspecting portion is rotated, such rotational movement is converted into a sliding movement of the other portion. Accordingly, by rotating one of the portions, the connector can be inspected. This not only reduces the space required for installing the connector inspecting apparatus, but also facilitates the inspection operation.

摘要: For use on automobiles, the invention provides a compact device for measuring the concentration of a nitrogen oxide in a combustion gas such as an exhaust gas of an internal combustion gas. The device has an ion pumping cell using an oxygen ion conductive solid electrolyte to adjust the partial pressure of oxygen in a gas diffusion chamber and a sensor such as an oxygen concentration cell using a solid electrolyte to detect the partial pressure of oxygen in the chamber. The pumping cell or the concentration cell is provided with a catalyst which decomposes the nitrogen oxide in the diffusion chamber only when the partial pressure of coexisting oxygen is sufficiently low. In the device the current supplied to the pumping cell is measured when the partial pressure of oxygen in the diffusion chamber is low enough for the activity of the catalyst and also when the oxygen partial pressure is made too high, and the concentration of the nitrogen oxide in the gas is computed from the two values of the current and the known relationship between the concentration of oxygen in the gas and the current necessary for keeping each of the high and low partial pressures of oxygen. It is convenient to use a pair of combinations of the pumping cell and the concentration cell to keep the high partial pressure of oxygen in one combination and the low partial pressure of oxygen in the other.

摘要: Disclosed is an optical fiber coupling device which comprises an optical fiber, a coupling member to which the optical fiber is coupled, a coupling means for coupling the optical fiber to the coupling member, and an optical-fiber fixing section for fixing a part of the optical fiber. The optical fiber is coupled only at its forward end to the coupling member. A part of the optical fiber is fixed at a position separated from the forward end of the optical fiber by a specified distance. Thus, the stress applied to the fixed section of the optical fiber is absorbed into a portion of the optical fiber located between the forward end of the optical fiber and the fixed section of the optical fiber fixed by the optical fiber fixing section and which covers the specified distance, thereby to prevent the stress from being applied to the forward end of the optical fiber.
