    摘要: A synthetic paper with a multi-layer structure comprising a biaxially stretched film of an olefinic polymer having a melting point (the peak temperature of the DSC curve) of from 130.degree. C. to 210.degree. C. containing from 5 to 40% by weight inorganic fine powders having a mean particle size of from 0.01 to 10 .mu.m as a base material layer (A) having adhered to at least one surface thereof a uniaxially stretched layer (B) having a surface roughness of from 0.3 to 1.5 .mu.m, with the uniaxially stretched layer (B) comprising a propylene .alpha.-olefin copolymer or a high-density polyethylene having a melting point (the peak temperature of the DSC curve) of from 120.degree. C. to 160.degree. C. which is at least 5.degree. C. lower than the melting point of the olefinic polymer of the base material layer (A) and from 8 to 65% by weight inorganic fine powders having a mean particle size of from 0.01 to 5 .mu.m, wherein the surfaces of the inorganic fine powders contained in the uniaxially stretched layer (B) are coated with the propylene .alpha.-olefin copolymer or the high-density polyethylene.

    摘要: A spring steel containing 0.35 to 0.50% of carbon is refined to the hardness of .phi. 2.50 to 2.70 mm in Brinell indentation diameter (HBD) by rapid cooling for quenching and tempering. This spring steel is subjected to warm shot peening at a temperature of 150 to 300.degree. C. (423 to 573K) by using long-lived practical shots with the normal hardness of .phi. 2.65 to 2.80 mm in HBD, whereupon a high-strength spring is obtained having a compressive residual stress in its surface and enjoying the maximum shearing stress of 110 to 135 kgf/mm.sup.2 (1080 to 1325 MPa).

    摘要: A multiple input switching system includes an input isolation device, such as a transformer, in the input circuit. Switching devices are provided for sequentially connecting the several input circuits to a time-shared amplifier. The switching devices are actuated at a predetermined rate with a predetermined closed-time for each closure. Further switching devices are provided for transferring the data from each of the input circuits to a corresponding memory device. These further switching devices are operated synchronously with the first-mentioned switching devices but with a shorter close-time. The data values in the several memory devices may be selectively scanned asynchronously. Between each actuation of the input switching devices, additional switches are actuated which (1) short-circuits the input to the amplifier and (2) applies the output drift signal of the amplifier to a compensating storage capacitor. On subsequent actuation of the input and output switch devices, the compensating signal is superimposed on the data signal stored on the corresponding memory device.
