摘要: An exhaust gas cleaning device provided with a filter member for collecting carbon particulates in exhaust gases discharged from a diesel engine and an electric heater for burning off the particulates collected by the filter member, is disclosed. The filter member is composed of a large number of intersecting porous walls which define a large number of inlet gas passages and outlet gas passages which are adjacent to each other. The electric heater is composed of at least one film-shaped heating resistor which is directly formed on the upstream end surface of the filter member so as to be integral therewith. When the amount of carbon particulates collected by the filter member reaches a predetermined level, electric current is supplied to the electric heater. The carbon particulates adhered to the upstream end surface of the filter member are ignited and burnt off. Then, the combustion of carbon particulates spreads to the other carbon particulates collected in the other portion of the filter member.

摘要: An exhaust gas cleaning device comprises at least one exhaust gas flowing passage, at least one particulates collecting member composed of two filter elements having different heat capacity, which is disposed within the exhaust gas flowing passage and heating means which is interposed between the filter elements so as to be closely contacted therewith. The filter element having smaller heat capacity is disposed on the upper stream side of the heating means and the filter element having larger heat capacity is disposed on the downstream side thereof. The filter element having smaller heat capacity is rapidly heated by the heating means and the heat of the filter element having smaller heat capacity is transmitted to the filter element having larger heat capacity. All of the particulates collected by the particulates collecting member can be burnt off with excellent heat efficiency.

摘要: Disclosed is a novel means that enables mass production of highly safe fibrinogen at low cost. The transgenic silkworm of the present invention expresses the fibrinogen subunit Aα, Bβ and γ chains in the silk gland cells and produces fibrinogen having coagulation activity in the cocoon filament. Preferably, the transgenic silkworm expresses the subunits in the middle silk gland cells and produces fibrinogen in the sericin layer of the cocoon filament. By recovering fibrinogen from the cocoon of the transgenic silkworm of the present invention, highly safe fibrinogen can be mass-produced at low cost.

摘要: A drain mechanism includes: a cap that is attached detachably to a case of a fluid filter and formed with a drain hole, and includes an engaging projecting portion to which an engaging portion of a drain pipe inserted into the drain hole is engaged; and a valve member that is provided in the interior of the cap so as to close the drain hole and displaced in a direction for releasing closure of the drain hole upon contact with a tip end portion of the pipe inserted into the drain hole. The valve member is provided with a holding recess portion for holding the tip end portion of the pipe. A contact portion contacted by the tip end portion of the pipe is provided inside the holding recess portion of the valve member. When a tip end side of the engaging portion of the pipe inserted into the drain hole is in contact with a rear end side of the engaging projecting portion of the cap, an interval between a contact tip end of the engaging portion and the engaging projecting portion and an open end of the holding recess portion of the valve member closing the drain hole is longer than an interval between the contact tip end of the engaging portion and the engaging projecting portion and a tip end of the pipe.

In the present invention, in order to accomplish the above-described object, there are provided a method and a device for determining the position for detection of charged particles by making the comparison between a stained optical microscope image and an elemental mapping image formed based on X-rays detected by irradiation with the charged-particle beam.

摘要: A semiconductor wafer etching method is disclosed that allows etching without use of restricted ozone-destroying solvents such as trichloroethane or fluorocarbons. This method involves forming a protective film of silicon resin or alkali resistant resin on a semiconductor wafer. Then, a surface region of the wafer not covered by the protective film is etched. Finally, the protective film is peeled from the semiconductor wafer without damaging the wafer or employing solvents harmful to the environment.

摘要: A heating and extruding method for a bulk preform of a fiber reinforced composite material, including a stabbing machine for forming an unpenetrated hole in the bulk preform, a heating machine connected to the stabbing machine for heating the bulk preform by a nitrogen gas, and an extruding machine connected to the heating machine for heating and compressing the bulk preform heated by the heating machine to discharge a predetermined amount of the bulk preform, wherein at least the heating machine to the extruding machine has a sealing structure sealing a nitrogen gas therein. An extruding lip of the extruding machine has a thickness restriction plate and a width restriction plate for respectively adjusting an extrusion thickness and an extrusion width of the melted composite material. Accordingly, oxidation and degradation of resin composing the fiber reinforced composite material can be prevented. Further, a shape of the melted composite material to be extruded can be suited to a desired shape of a molded part to be obtained.

摘要: A charged particle beam generating apparatus of multi-stage acceleration type includes a charged particle beam source and a multi-stage acceleration tube having a plurality of acceleration electrodes arranged in cascade over a plurality of stages within the tube. A plurality of outer shield electrodes are disposed in concentrical relation on the radially outer side of the multi-stage acceleration tube over the plural stages to be applied with the same potentials as those of the associated acceleration electrodes respectively. Finally, a plurality of dividing resistors are disposed outside of the multi-stage acceleration tube or between the outer shield electrodes and the multi-stage acceleration tube so as to apply predetermined potentials to the acceleration electrodes, respectively.

摘要: A high voltage generating device with a PZT element is disclosed. The device includes an energization control unit for generating an energization voltage, a PZT element unit for performing voltage conversion in response to an output from the energization control unit, and a load unit for receiving an output from the PZT element unit. The PZT element unit is provided with a resonating member and an electrostrictive element, and a period of an output voltage from the energization control unit is controlled so that a primary voltage from the PZT element unit becomes maximum at a timing when the output voltage from the energization control unit is not supplied.
