摘要: Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and devices for identifying increased likelihood of non-ST elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) in a patient based on ECG data. The methods can include determining based on the ECG data that the patient lacks ST elevation (STE) and that the patient exhibits a ventricular repolarization dispersion (VRD) score that exceeds a predetermined threshold value. The VRD score can be based in part on a T wave complexity ratio that serves as a temporal marker of VRD for the patient. Other markers of spatial and time qualities of repolarization can also be included in the VRD score. An elevated VRD score in the absence of STE can indicate a likelihood of NSTEMI in the patient and a potential major adverse cardiac event.

摘要: A system for monitoring free flap patency includes transmit and receive transducers structured to be coupled to a blood vessel, and a plurality of circuitry modules structured to insonify a blood flow volume within the blood vessel and receive a scattered signal from the receive transducer, extract a baseband Doppler blood flow signal, VBASEBAND, from the scattered signal, extract a plurality of features from VBASEBAND, and classify the plurality of features and generate a binary signal based on the classification of the plurality of features, wherein the binary signal will have a first state responsive to the classification of the plurality of features indicating that a flow rate within the blood vessel is less than a predetermined level and a second state responsive to the classification of the plurality of features indicating the flow rate within the blood vessel is greater than or equal to the predetermined level.

摘要: A machine-implemented method, computing device, and at least one non-transitory computer-readable medium are provided. A dynamical network model is parameterized by state transition matrices based on monitored interictal brain data. A node influence-to network score for each respective node is calculated indicating how influential the respective node is. An influenced-by score is calculated for the each respective node indicating an amount by which the respective node is influenced by the nodes. A score is calculated for the each respective node based on a sink index, a source influence index, and a sink connectivity index. Nodes that are in the epileptogenic zone are determined based on the calculated score for each of the nodes. An indication of the nodes in the epileptogenic zone is provided.

摘要: The invention relates generally to optically high transparency and high haze structures and, more particularly, to plastic, e.g., polymer, and glass structures having a sub-wavelength texture formed on a surface thereof, which is effective to impart the optical properties of high transparency and high haze to the structures. The texture is in a grass-like or needle-like form. Additionally, the optically high transparency and high haze structures may include a transparent conductor. Furthermore, the glass structures may exhibit a self-cleaning function.
