Abstract: Titanium-containing molecular sieves are disclosed having use as molecular sieves and as catalyst compositions in hydrocarbon conversion and other processes. The instant invention employs novel titanium-containing molecular sieves comprising titanium, aluminum, phosphorus and oxygen and are generally employable in hydrocarbon conversion processes, including cracking, hydrocracking and hydrotreating.

Abstract: Systems and methods for upgrading a hydrocarbon stream to a lower boiling point hydrocarbon feed material are disclosed. The system includes a feeding device to transport a hydrocarbon stream that includes an alternative feedstock. The hydrocarbon stream is partially cracked in a first cracking unit producing a lower boiling point hydrocarbon feed material, a catalyst rich heavy hydrocarbon stream, and coke. A slurry settler receives the catalyst rich heavy hydrocarbon stream and coke and separates the catalyst from the catalyst rich heavy hydrocarbon stream thereby defining a catalyst rich stream and a heavy hydrocarbon stream. A coking vessel receives the heavy hydrocarbon stream and coke and separates the heavy hydrocarbons from the coke thereby defining a heavy hydrocarbon stream. Finally, a second cracking unit that receives the lower boiling point feed material from the first cracking unit and produces olefins and aromatics.

Abstract: A process is provided to partially upgrade heavy oil using two or more reaction zones connected in series, each reaction zone being a continuous stirred tank maintained at hydrocracking conditions. The heavy oil feedstock and a solid particulate catalyst are stirred to form pumpable slurry which is heated to a target hydrocracking temperature and then continuously fed to the first reaction zone. Hydrogen is continuously introduced to the reaction zone to achieve hydrocracking and to produce a volatile vapor stream carried upwardly by the hydrogen to produce an overhead vapor stream. The hydrocracked heavy oil slurry from one reaction zone is fed to a next reaction zone also maintained under hydrocracking conditions with a continuous hydrogen feed to produce a volatile vapor stream. The overhead vapor stream from each reactor zone is continuously removed, and the hydrocracked heavy oil slurry from the last of the reaction zones is removed.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to novel crystalline germanosilicate compositions and methods of producing the same. In particular, the crystalline germanosilicate compositions are extra-large-pore compositions, designated CIT-13 possessing 10- and 14-membered rings. The disclosure describes methods of preparing these compositions using substituted benzyl-imidazolium organic structure-directing agents (OSDAs).
