    摘要: The present invention provides an apparatus for removing the unnecessary thin-film layer on the periphery of the substrate of the plate-like member having a square shape, on the surface of which substrate is formed a thin-film layer. The apparatus comprises a chamber to treat the peripheral part where the peripheral part of the plate-like member is inserted and where the unnecessary thin-film layer on the peripheral part of the plate-like member is removed; and a means to move the plate-like member. The chamber to treat the peripheral part comprises a cover to prevent the scattering of the sprayed particles and the dust for treating the peripheral part, the cover having one of its end-sides that forms a ceiling being closed and having the other end-side that is opposed to the ceiling being open and a suctioning cover for treating the peripheral part, having an opening that has the same shape as the opening of the cover to prevent the scattering of the dust. In the chamber to treat the peripheral part, a blasting nozzle for spraying particles for treating the peripheral part is disposed on the cover to prevent the scattering of the dust, so that the mouth of the blasting nozzle is covered by the wall of the cover to prevent the scattering of the sprayed particles and the dust.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for analyzing, maintaining or adjusting the chemical and physical structure of a CO2 Composite Spray in real-time. A light beam is passed through a portion of the CO2 Composite Spray plume, following which the transmitted light is collected using a detector and analyzed using a computer processing device. Light absorption, reflection and/or florescence data are correlated with CO2 particle density and particle size, spray plume length, organic and inorganic spray additives, and water vapor content. The treatment spray geometry is used to optimize and control a CO2 Composite Spray in precision cleaning, machining, and cooling processes.

In one embodiment, an abrasive jet system includes a cutting head configured to receive abrasives and pressurized fluid to form an abrasive jet. The system also includes an abrasive source configured to store abrasives that are supplied to the cutting head, as well as a fluid source configured to store fluid that is supplied to the cutting head. The system further includes a gas source configured to store pressurized gas that is selectively supplied to the cutting head. When supplied to the cutting head, the pressurized gas can advantageously affect, such as by at least partially diffusing, the abrasive jet.

When the pin is at the shutoff position, the end portion of the pin is in contact with the contact surface. When the pin is at the throttling position, the end portion of the pin is spaced apart from the contact surface and the tapered inner surface and the shaft portion of the pin at least partially define a throttling gap.

The tool having a framework, a robot movably connected to the framework and provided with a nozzle for supplying dry ice. The robot and the nozzle are adapted to clean the interior of the container by means of dry ice blasting. An actuating unit is arranged to move the robot between the framework and the interior of the container. The tool is a portable unit and has a size and a design that allows a truck adapted for gripping and carrying freight containers of ISO type to grip and carry the tool in order to move the tool to and from the container to be cleaned.
