    摘要: An engine system is provided, which includes a main combustion chamber, a subchamber, an injector that injects fuel into the main combustion chamber, a main spark plug that ignites a mixture gas inside the main combustion chamber, and a subspark plug that ignites the mixture gas inside the subchamber, an throttle valve, and a control device. In a first range, compression self-ignition combustion of the mixture gas inside the main combustion chamber is performed. In a second range, flame propagation combustion is performed while setting an air-fuel ratio of the mixture gas lower than that in the first range. Immediately after the transition from the first range to the second range, only the subignition is performed, or the subignition and the main ignition are performed while setting a timing of the main ignition to a timing same as or retarded from the subignition.

    摘要: An electrodeposition coating method includes a degreasing/cleaning step, a chemical conversion step, and an electrodeposition coating layer formation step. The degreasing/cleaning step includes a degreasing step of ultrasonically vibrating a degreasing solution in which a target object is immersed, using an ultrasonic vibrator. The electrodeposition coating layer formation step includes: a first electrodeposition step; a first rinsing step; a rinse water removal/reduction step of removing or reducing rinse water on a rinse water stagnating surface of the target object; a thermal flow step of allowing the first electrodeposition coating film to thermally flow so that the first electrodeposition coating film formed on a portion of the target object near a first counter electrode has a higher electrical resistance than the first electrodeposition coating film formed on a portion of the target object far from the first counter electrode; and a second electrodeposition step.

    摘要: A vehicle drive system includes a motor (drive motor), a generator, a reduction drive that reduces output of the motor, and a housing. At a position above a motor shaft, an oil passage, through which oil is supplied to each of the motor, the reduction drive, and the generator, is integrally formed with the housing. An oil pipe is attached to the housing and supplies the oil from an oil reservoir to the oil passage. At a position between the motor and the generator, the reduction drive is offset from the motor shaft in a second direction that is orthogonal to the first direction. The oil pipe is located between the motor and the generator in the first direction, and at least part of the oil pipe is located on an opposite side of the reduction drive with the motor shaft being interposed therebetween in the second direction.

    摘要: An intake sound amplifier amplifies intake sound that is transmitted from an engine mounted in an engine compartment of a vehicle to a cabin. The intake sound amplifier includes a first passage branched from an intake passage, through which intake air is introduced into an engine; a device body that includes a vibrating body vibrated by pulsation of the intake air and is connected to a downstream end of the first passage; and a second passage that is connected to a downstream end of the device body and extends to the cabin side. The device body is located outward in a vehicle width direction of a side frame that extends in a vehicle front-rear direction and separates inside of the engine compartment from outside in the vehicle width direction.

    摘要: To reduce the man-hours of software development when vehicle types are deployed, an in-vehicle equipment control device has a control unit that outputs, to actuators, control signals based on the outputs from sensor devices. The control unit includes a middleware layer and a device driver layer as software components. The middleware layer includes a routing module that selects whether the communication data output from the sensor devices is output as is or the communication data is subjected to predetermined processing and then output according to the type of the communication data, and a treatment module that performs the predetermined processing on the communication data. The routing module has a function of outputting the communication data to the device driver.

    摘要: A vehicle front structure comprises a beam member positioned in front of a sub frame and having a closed-cross section extending in a vehicle width direction and a plate member extending forwardly from the beam member. The plate member comprises a fixation portion fixed to the beam member, a body portion extending forwardly from the fixation portion, and a front end portion positioned at a front end of the body portion and configured to have higher rigidity against a load applied in a longitudinal direction than the body portion. The front end portion of the plate member comprises an upper section located at a higher level than the body portion and a lower section located at a lower level than the body portion. The upper section is positioned on a vehicle forward side of the lower section.
