Abstract: Transfer tapes include a releasing substrate and an adhesive layer adjacent to the surface of the releasing substrate. The adhesive layer includes a cured copolymer prepared from a reaction mixture that includes at least one alkyl (meth)acrylate, at least one ethylenically unsaturated silane, and an initiator. The adhesive layer is a pressure sensitive adhesive at room temperature and is convertible into a ceramic-like layer by bake-out at a temperature of from 170-500°.

Abstract: According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, a composition includes about 5 to about 40 parts by weight of a solute copolymer component. The solute component optionally has one Tg or Tm of at least 25° C. The composition further includes about 60 to about 95 parts by weight of a solvent monomer. The solvent monomer component includes (meth)acrylate monomers and a multifunctional acrylate. The sum of the solute copolymer component and the solvent monomer component is 100 parts by weight. The composition further includes about 5 to about 100 parts of a plasticizer, relative to the 100 parts. The plasticizer component comprises at least one plasticizer comprising an acid group.

Abstract: A structured optical surface and an optical imaging system including the structured optical surface is described. The structured optical surface includes a plurality of structures formed by an intersection of at least first and second Fresnel patterns, such that when the structured optical surface is incorporated in an optical imaging system comprising a pixelated display surface with at least one pixel comprising at least two sub-pixels spaced apart by a gap, the structured optical surface images the at least two sub-pixels onto an image surface as at least two corresponding imaged sub-pixels spaced apart by a corresponding imaged gap, and the structured optical surface diffracts light so that the diffracted light at least partially fills the imaged gap without substantially overlapping any of the at least two imaged sub-pixels.

Abstract: A multilayer optical adhesive including a first viscoelastic or elastomeric adhesive layer and a second viscoelastic or elastomeric adhesive layer. A crosslinked or soluble resin layer may be disposed between the first viscoelastic or elastomeric adhesive layer and the second viscoelastic or elastomeric adhesive layer or the first viscoelastic or elastomeric adhesive layer may be immediately adjacent to the second viscoelastic or elastomeric adhesive layer. An interface between immediately adjacent layers is structured and there is a difference in refractive indices across the interface.
