    Abstract: The present application provides a box of a battery, a battery, and a power consumption device. The box includes: a first component, including a first interface; a second component, configured to connect with the first component to form a chamber, the second component including a second interface, the second interface being configured to be arranged opposite to the first interface; a first locking mechanism, configured to lock the first component and the second component, so that the first interface and the second interface are sealed and connected; the first locking mechanism is configured to be actuated when an internal pressure of a chamber exceeds a preset value, so that the first interface and the second interface break away from a sealed state to relieve the internal pressure of the chamber. The pressure relief ability of the battery can be improved, and the safety of the battery can be enhanced.

    Abstract: The present application discloses a battery including a battery cell, a thermal management component, an avoidance chamber and a collection chamber. The battery cell includes a pressure relief mechanism; the thermal management component is configured to adjust a temperature of the battery cell; the avoidance chamber is configured to provide a space allowing the pressure relief mechanism to be actuated; and the collection chamber is configured to collect emissions from the battery cell when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated. The thermal management component is configured such that emissions are capable of passing through the thermal management component when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, and then entering the collection chamber through the avoidance chamber. Therefore, the pressure relief mechanism may not need to be provided on a side of an electrode terminal of the battery cell and emissions relieved by the pressure relief mechanism may be collected.

    Abstract: A battery cell, including a housing, a pressure relief member disposed on a first wall of the housing, an electrode assembly disposed inside the housing, an electrolyte immersing the electrode assembly, and a sealing member and an active substance that are disposed inside the housing. The sealing member is configured to seal the active substance on a side of electrode assembly close to the first wall. The sealing member is configured to be actuated when an internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a first threshold, to release the active substance, and the active substance is able to react with the electrolyte and/or the electrode assembly to increase the internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell, so as to actuate the pressure relief member. The battery cell can quickly discharge its internal temperature and pressure when experiencing thermal runaway, and the battery cell has good safety performance.
