摘要: A battery pack includes: a box assembly; a plurality of battery cells disposed in the box assembly; and a safety protection mechanism disposed in the box assembly and having a first state and a second state. When the safety protection mechanism is in the first state, the plurality of battery cells are insulated from the box assembly. The safety protection mechanism is in the second state when a preset trigger condition is met, and when the safety protection mechanism is in the second state, at least some of the battery cells are electrically connected to the box assembly.

The battery includes: a battery cell, a first wall of the battery cell being provided with a pressure relief mechanism; a thermal management component configured to regulate the temperature of the battery cell, the thermal management component being attached to a second wall of the battery cell, and the second wall being different from the first wall; and a box body, the box body including an electrical cavity and a collection cavity, wherein the electrical cavity is configured to accommodate the battery cell and the thermal management component, and the collection cavity is configured to collect emissions from the battery cell when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated. The battery and the electrical apparatus of the embodiments of the present application can improve the safety of the battery.

The battery cell includes: a pressure relief mechanism, the pressure relief mechanism being disposed on at least one wall of the battery cell; and a protective film enclosing an outer surface of the at least one wall, the protective film being configured to provide insulation protection for the at least one wall; where the protective film includes a first portion at least covering the pressure relief mechanism. Through technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application, insulation performance of a battery cell could be improved; meanwhile, deformation of a pressure relief mechanism could be suppressed, creep of the pressure relief mechanism could be reduced, and the service life of the pressure relief mechanism could be increased.

摘要: A battery cell, including a housing, a pressure relief member disposed on a first wall of the housing, an electrode assembly disposed inside the housing, an electrolyte immersing the electrode assembly, and a sealing member and an active substance that are disposed inside the housing. The sealing member is configured to seal the active substance on a side of electrode assembly close to the first wall. The sealing member is configured to be actuated when an internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a first threshold, to release the active substance, and the active substance is able to react with the electrolyte and/or the electrode assembly to increase the internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell, so as to actuate the pressure relief member. The battery cell can quickly discharge its internal temperature and pressure when experiencing thermal runaway, and the battery cell has good safety performance.
