A field emission device by which a color image can be displayed and a method for fabricating the same are provided. The anodes to be doped with the fluorescent film of the same color are connected to each other so that the color fluorescent film can be coated on the anodes of the front surface substrate using the electrophoretic method. The anodes crossing each other are detoured by forming an insulating layer in an area in which the electrodes cross each other. It is possible to obtain a cheap and clean fluorescent film by sequentially forming the fluorescent films of the respective colors by the electrophoretic method. Packaging can be easily performed since the anodes of the front surface substrate on which the fluorescent film is formed can easily contact the external terminals of the rear surface substrate.

A method is provided for fabricating a field emission device which can be adopted as the source for a flat panel display, an ultra-high frequency amplifier sensor, or an electron-beam-applied instrument. A polyimide layer is used as a release layer and a metal mask is formed thereon, thereby enabling the height of micro-tips to be easily controlled. Since the polyimide layer is soluble in an appropriate solvent, contamination does not occur during an etching process, thereby increasing the reliability of the device.

The present invention is related to a biochip and a biomolecular detection system using the same. In particular, the biomolecular detection system is capable of detecting biological molecules (biomolecules) such as DNA or protein at a high speed. The biochip comprises a supporting structure, conductive materials aligned vertically on, and associated with, the supporting structure, and biomolecule probes operably linked to the conductive materials. The biomolecular detection system using the biochip may precisely detect biomolecules as well as the density of the biomolecules.
