An improved choke seal arrangement, in a microwave oven, in which a slit structure is provided to prevent leakage of microwave energy around the periphery of the door. The slit structure, which has been provided in one of the walls defining the choke cavity in the prior art choke seal arrangement, is provided in a door wall portion spaced apart from the choke cavity so as to facilitate mechanical formation of the choke cavity and also to prevent deformation of the choke cavity wall during use. The choke seal arrangement permits the gap between the wall of the choke cavity and the confronting inner wall of the heating chamber to be smaller than hitherto, and the microwave seal performance further improved.

The oven-defining housing structure has a control panel at the front thereof, which control panel includes one or more signaling windows or indicators to be illuminated, for example, one signaling window representing, when illuminated, that the high frequency wave generator is in position to generate a low radiating energy into the heating chamber and the other signaling window representing, when illuminated, that the high frequency wave generator is being operated. These signaling windows are respectively illuminated by portions of rays of light emitted by the oven lamp by means of light transmitters. Respective shutter mechanisms are provided for controlling passage of the light rays from the oven lamp towards the signaling windows so that the latter can be illuminated at required times.

The object of the present invention is to provide a collagen fiber membrane, which has sufficient strength and can be used as a cell culture substrate, a scaffold material for regenerative medicine (for example, material for tissue engineering of cartilage, bone, ligament, corneal stroma, skin, or liver), an implantation material (for example, wound dressing material, bone grafting material, hemostatic material, anti-adhesive material) or a carrier for drug delivery. The object of the present invention can be solved by a fish-derived collagen fiber membrane, characterized in that (1) a tensile strength is 30 MPa or more, (2) a density determined by the gravimetric method, is 0.4 g/cm3 or more, and (3) an average membrane thickness is 1 μm to 2 mm, and a variation in membrane thickness is plus or minus 30%, relative to the average membrane thickness.
