摘要: In a brake control system for a vehicle, a target wheel cylinder pressure of each wheel is calculated in accordance with a braking force applied by the driver, a brake control mode is determined to be one of an increase pressure mode, a decrease pressure mode, or a maintain pressure mode, and a target increase/decrease force slope is calculated in accordance with a slip amount of the wheel. In particular, the target wheel cylinder pressure is calculated based on actual wheel cylinder pressure and the target increase/decrease pressure slope, set on the target increase/decrease force slope when starting anti-skid control, the target wheel cylinder pressure is calculated after starting the anti-skid control based on the most recent target wheel cylinder pressure and the target increase/decrease pressure slope, and the wheel cylinder pressure Pi is controlled so as to become equal to the target wheel cylinder pressure.

摘要: The invention provides an anti-skid controller capable of correctly executing ABS control by accurately estimating a road surface .mu. without using additional sensors. Each wheel speed is detected, and acceleration of the vehicle body in a case where a wheel speed difference between front and rear wheels exceeds a specified value is determined. In this case, by using a change rate within a specified period of time with respect to a wheel speed of one in which wheel speed changing is small as the acceleration, a road surface .mu. corresponding to the acceleration is determined. Corrections regarding turning, bad road travelling, road surface changing, etc. can be carried out, by determining a lateral G based on a speed difference between left and right wheels.

摘要: Provided herein is a scrap melting method capable of both producing a molten iron by efficiently melting scrap and producing a large amount of high calorie exhaust gas having a high utility value as a fuel gas and at the same time capable of performing such operation at a low production cost. Scrap, the source of iron, and coke are charged into a shaft furnace and pulverized coal and oxygen are injected into the furnace from a burner provided at the tuyere portion; in such injection of the pulverized coal and oxygen, the pulverized coal is injected from the center or in the vicinity thereof in diametrical direction of the burner and the oxygen is injected from the surrounding portion thereof to mix the two, thereby rapidly burning the pulverized coal in a combustion zone formed beyond the tuyere; and the scrap is melted by the sensible heat of thus generated combustion gas to produce a molten iron and the combustion gas is collected as a fuel gas without causing a significant post combustion of the combustion gas.

摘要: An anti-skid control system for use in a motor vehicle which controls a braking pressure for a wheel of the motor vehicle to keep a slip of the wheel to an appropriate state by alternately performing a pressure-increasing operation and a pressure-maintaining operation in accordance with a slipping state of the wheel. The system first detects a slipping state of the wheel before performing the pressure-increasing operation on the basis of a vehicle speed and a wheel speed and then detects a slipping state of the wheel when a predetermined time period is elapsed from the pressure-increasing operation in a state that the braking pressure is maintained after the completion of the pressure-increasing operation so as to calculate a variation of the slipping state of the wheel on the basis of the detection results. Further, the system adjusts the ratio of a time period for the pressure-increasing operation to a time period for the pressure-maintaining operation so that the ratio becomes smaller as the variation of the slipping state becomes greater. This arrangement allows the wheel slipping state to be accurately detected without including errors due to the braking pressure increasing operation, thereby quickly increasing the braking pressure to an appropriate value.

摘要: Disclosed is an exhaust valve having an approximately constant rate of pressure loss per unit time which is particularly useful with an automatic sphygmomanometer. A pair of abutting plates are provided in a fluid flow path. The plates are pressurized into contact with each other at least in part by a pressurized fluid to be exhausted through the valve. At least one of the plates is formed of a resilient material and a gap-forming member is disposed between the abutting plates to define an exhaust passage which has a cross section which varies as the pressure of the pressurized fluid varies.
