摘要: An antenna device includes a base including a planar conductor disposed thereon, and a coil antenna. The coil antenna includes a coil conductor wound around a magnetic core. The coil antenna is arranged such that a coil opening of the coil conductor is closed to an edge of the planar conductor. A current passing through the coil conductor induces a current in the planar conductor. Thus, a first magnetic flux occurs in the coil antenna, and a second magnetic flux occurs in the planar conductor. Therefore, a third magnetic flux occurs in an area of the planar conductor. Accordingly, the antenna device achieves a small footprint, a small-sized communication terminal apparatus and a desired communication distance.

摘要: An antenna includes a flexible sheet that includes a first main surface including a first coil electrode located thereon and a second main surface including a second coil electrode located thereon. The first and second coil electrodes are wound in opposite directions when viewed from different directions. A first end of the first coil electrode faces a first end of the second coil electrode through the flexible sheet. Similarly, a second end of the first coil electrode faces a second end of the second coil electrode through the flexible sheet. The first and second coil electrodes define an inductor, the first ends of the first and second coil electrodes define a capacitor, and the second ends of the first and second coil electrodes define a capacitor whereby a resonant antenna is provided.

摘要: A wireless IC device includes a spiral line electrode portion and a first capacitance electrode connected to the inner end of the line electrode portion, which are disposed on the top surface of a substrate. A second capacitance electrode opposing the first capacitance electrode and a cross line electrode, which connects the second capacitance electrode and a connecting portion that connects the top and bottom surfaces, are disposed on the bottom surface of the substrate. The connecting portion electrically connects the outer end of the line electrode portion and an end of the cross line electrode. A wireless IC is mounted such that terminal electrodes thereof are connected to the connecting portion and an end of a radiating electrode. A radiating/resonating electrode including the line electrode portion, the capacitance electrodes, and the cross line electrode can act both as a resonant circuit for a resonant tag and as a radiating electrode serving as an RFID tag.

摘要: A wireless IC device includes a cutout portion having no aluminum-deposited film that is provided at an end of an article package made of an aluminum-deposited laminated film, and an electromagnetic coupling module is provided at the cutout portion. The electromagnetic coupling module and the aluminum-deposited film of the package define a wireless IC device. A loop electrode, which is a magnetic field transmission auxiliary radiator of the electromagnetic coupling module, is coupled to the aluminum-deposited film of the package. Thus, the article package functions as a radiator of an antenna.

摘要: A wireless IC device prevents deviations of the resonant frequency from the desired value. An antenna coil has an end portion positioned in a connector provided on the negative-most side in the z-axis direction and an end portion positioned in a connector provided on the positive-most side in the z-axis direction. A wireless IC is electrically connected to the end portions. A via hole conductor is provided between the end portion and the wireless IC and penetrates through a plurality of insulator layers. A via hole conductor is provided in the antenna coil such that the length of a current path thereto from the end portion is the shortest among a plurality of via hole conductors. The distance between the via hole conductor and the via hole conductor is larger than the distances between the penetrating via hole conductor and the via hole conductors.

摘要: A wireless IC device improves radiation characteristics or directivity of signals and reliably communicates with a reader/writer. The wireless IC device includes an electromagnetically coupled module includes a wireless IC device and a feed circuit substrate, a protective layer, a first radiation plate, and a second radiation plate. The feed circuit substrate includes a feed circuit including inductance elements. The feed circuit is electrically connected to the wireless IC chip and coupled to the radiation plates. Signals received by the radiation plates are provided to the wireless IC chip via the feed circuit. Signals from the wireless IC chip are provided to the radiation plates via the feed circuit and then radiated to the outside.
