    摘要: An insertion device comprises an insertion unit to be inserted into a subject, a spiral-shaped portion to be in contact with an inner wall of a lumen of a subject along with the insertion unit being inserted into the subject, and a rotating unit for rotating the insertion unit provided with the spiral-shaped portion. The spiral-shaped portion is partially provided in a plurality of portions in a portion to be in contact with an inner wall of a lumen of a subject, or provided across the entire portion to be in contact with the inner wall of the lumen of the subject. Propulsion at the time of inserting the insertion unit into a subject is obtained by rotating the insertion unit provided with the spiral-shaped portion.

    摘要: A line changeover device for an endoscope, which changes over a line which is arranged in the endoscope, is arranged such that it comprises a cylinder and a piston which is fitted and inserted into the cylinder in a retractable manner, a seal member which is abutted against the cylinder for retaining at least one of water tightness and gas tightness with respect to the cylinder is fixedly provided on an outer periphery of the piston, and a strength reinforcement is provided on at least a part between an outer periphery of said seal member and an inner periphery thereof. The water tightness and the gas tightness within the cylinder are retained or held, and a sliding resistance of the piston is kept appropriately or adequately without the use of lubricating oil. Sliding ability between the cylinder and the piston at the time of operation is improved. Operability can be made fine or satisfactory.

When one of the endoscope (1) and overtube (2) is inserted, the shape-holding section of the other shape-holds, and the body cavity is pulled with the balloon (1a) inflated, making it possible to reduce insertion length.

    摘要: The rear end side of treatment equipment-side duct which enables treatment equipment provided within an insertion unit to be inserted, and which also serves as a suction duct, is disposed generally in parallel with the tip side of a suction-side duct extending forward from a universal cable side so as to be an opening end, and both opening ends are detachably attached with a filter unit in which a forceps plug portion serving as a suction duct opening, and a filter portion for retrieving (storing) tissue by suction are provided, and a suction switchover valve for performing a suction switchover operation is provided at the backward side thereof, thereby enabling retrieval of tissue without influence of the periphery of the suction switchover valve. Thus, defects due to a long duct can be eliminated, and tissue can be retrieved without influence of the periphery of the suction switchover valve.
