Abstract: In some embodiments, a robotic process automation (RPA) agent executing within a browser window/tab interacts with an RPA driver executing outside of the browser. A bridge module establishes a communication channel between the RPA agent and the RPA driver. In one exemplary use case, the RPA agent receives a robot specification from a remote server, the specification indicating at least one RPA activity, and communicates details of the respective activity to the RPA driver via the communication channel. The RPA driver identifies a runtime target for the RPA activity within the target web page and executes the respective activity.

Abstract: A method for fetching a content from a web server to a client device is disclosed, using tunnel devices serving as intermediate devices. The tunnel device is selected based on an attribute, such as IP Geolocation. A tunnel bank server stores a list of available tunnels that may be used, associated with values of various attribute types. The tunnel devices initiate communication with the tunnel bank server, and stays connected to it, for allowing a communication session initiated by the tunnel bank server. Upon receiving a request from a client to a content and for specific attribute types and values, a tunnel is selected by the tunnel bank server, and is used as a tunnel for retrieving the required content from the web server, using standard protocol such as SOCKS, WebSocket or HTTP Proxy. The client only communicates with a super proxy server that manages the content fetching scheme.

Abstract: Sharing resources by users of computing devices includes providing, at each computing device, a respective viewport to a common desktop environment that has the shared resources. The desktop is independently viewable and independently navigable through each respective viewport. Furthermore, each of the resources is independently viewable and able to be independently acted upon through each respective viewport. One or more resources of each computing device may be added to the desktop environment through the respective viewport of the computing device. A search user interface is provided for text string searching of resources of a respective viewport by a user at the computing device of the respective viewport; and an application launcher view user interface is provided for launching applications, which is viewable by clicking on an open space of the desktop environment as seen through the respective viewport, and by which launchable applications are searchable.

Abstract: A remote instructional system enables remote users to control a machine which is digitally connected to a host computing device through a human machine interface. This human machine interface includes a software application operating on the host computing device, a digital adapter connecting the host computing device to the machine, a network connecting client computing devices to the host computing machine, and a graphical user interface allowing users of the client computing devices to remotely control the machine. However, the software application of the human machine interface restricts the passage of digital information from the network to the digital adapter through the host computing device to only computing pathways necessary to permit remote client devices to remotely control the machine.

Abstract: An input device is shared between a first remote desktop having a first display image, which is displayed on a first display of a first client device, and a second remote desktop having a second display image, which is displayed on a second display of a second client device. Upon detecting that an input pointer of the input device currently displayed within the first display image on the first display, is moved across an edge of the first remote desktop that corresponds to a virtual boundary between the first remote desktop and the second remote desktop, instructions are issued to a first remote computing device that is hosting the first remote desktop to discontinue receiving inputs made with the input device and a second remote computing device that is hosting the second remote desktop to begin receiving inputs made with the input device.
