    摘要: An accelerator pedal device comprises a pedal lever having a pivot shaft which is pivotally supported by a fixed support bracket. The pedal lever is biased in such a direction that an upper part of the pedal lever approaches a fixed stopper member. A first auxiliary lever is pivotally supported by the pivot shaft and has a first upper portion located between the stopper member and the upper part of the pedal lever. A second auxiliary lever is pivotally supported by the pivot shaft and has a second upper portion located between the first upper portion and the upper part of the pedal lever. A first lost-motion mechanism is provided between the pedal lever and the second auxiliary lever, and a second lost-motion mechanism is provided between the second and first auxiliary levers. A first switch is arranged to be actuated when an intersection angle between the pedal lever and the second auxiliary lever becomes smaller than a first given angle and a second switch is arranged to be actuated when an intersection angle between the second and first auxiliary levers becomes smaller than a second given angle.

    摘要: A throttle position sensor is provided for detecting opening degree of the throttle valve at regular intervals to produce an opening degree signal dependent on the detected opening degree. A memory has a stored opening degree signal. A detected opening degree signal detected by the sensor is compared with an opening degree signal stored in the memory. The stored opening degree signal is rewritten with the detected opening degree signal when the latter is larger than the former. Thus, a signal representing a maximum opening degree is stored in the memory.

    摘要: An electric shift apparatus for use with a motor vehicle having an automatic transmission. The apparatus includes a power module adapted to be mounted on the housing of the transmission proximate the transmission mode select lever and the transmission kick-down lever and a control module adapted to be mounted in the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The power module includes an electric motor assembly drivingly connected to the free end of the mode select lever and a solenoid drivingly connected to the free end of the kick-down lever. The control module includes a plurality of push button members corresponding respectively to the transmission shift positions. An encoder device carried by the motor assembly of the power module provides a constant coded signal indicating the instantaneous position of the transmission mode select lever and this coded signal is compared by comparator means in the logic of the control unit with the selected shift position. The comparator means generates a signal to the motor assembly to move the mode select lever in a direction to achieve the selected shift position and stops the motor assembly when the encoder signal received from the power module matches the selected shift position indicating that the selected shift position has been achieved.

    摘要: A vehicle automatic transmission including a torque converter, a multiple stage transmission gear mechanism connected with the torque converter and a hydraulic control circuit for automatically selecting one of gear stages of the transmission gear mechanism. The hydraulic control circuit includes a kick-down control device which functions to shift down the gear mechanism when the engine control foot pedal is substantially fully depressed. Depending on the vehicle running condition, the kick-down control device may shift down the gear mechanism by two gear stages. The hydraulic circuit includes control hydraulic circuit which functions to shift down the gear mechanism at first by one gear stage and then by a further one stage. For the purpose, relay valves are provided in kick-down control lines to lower stage shift valves.
