Abstract: An all-terrain vehicle includes a plurality of ground-engaging members and a frame supported by the plurality of ground-engaging members and having a front end and a rear end. The all-terrain vehicle further includes a straddle seat coupled to the frame and an attachment rack supported by the frame. The attachment rack has a first portion which defines an outer surface of the attachment rack and is comprised of a first material and a second portion which is positioned at least partially inward of the first portion and is comprised of a second material.

A front radiator shroud is positioned over the radiator on a front side and a rear radiator shroud is positioned over the radiator on a rear side. The rear radiator shroud has a rear baffle plate directing air downwardly and under the operator's compartment.

An electronic controller is operative to electronically control the gear configuration of the sub-transmission.

Abstract: An engine includes a crankshaft, a piston coupled to the crankshaft, and a head positioned over the piston and cylinder. The head includes a first aperture therethrough profiled for a spark plug. The engine also includes at least one camshaft positioned in the head and a cam retainer positioned over the camshaft to retain the camshaft in the head. The cam retainer includes a second aperture profiled to at least partially overlie the first aperture. The cam retainer is in a sealed relation with the head at the interface of the first and second apertures. The engine also includes a valve cover receivable over the head and cam retainer and including a third aperture therethrough, the third aperture being profiled to at least partially overlie the second aperture, and the valve cover being in a sealed relation with the cam retainer at the interface of the second and third apertures.
