The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for preparing a catalyst slurry for fuel cells, in which nano-sized catalyst particles are dispersed uniformly at a high concentration and the adsorption force between the catalyst and ionomer is maximized. The resulting catalyst slurry is suitable for the manufacture of a membrane-electrode assembly (MEA) of a polymer electrolyte (or proton exchange) membrane fuel cell (PEMFC).

Provided are a method and apparatus for providing and using content advisory (CA) information on Internet contents. A method of providing CA information by using a CA information server, includes receiving a request for the CA information on a content, from an Internet Protocol television (IPTV); searching for CA information on the content; and transmitting the found CA information to the IPTV. A method of using CA information when an IPTV reproduces a content not having the CA information, according to the present invention, includes transmitting a request for CA information, to a CA information server; receiving the CA information from the CA information server; analyzing the CA information; and applying the CA information.

A frequency mixing circuit and a frequency mixing method. The frequency mixing circuit includes first and second differential amplifiers, a subtracter and a mixer. The first differential amplifier amplifies a first pair of input signals having a first frequency to generate a first differential signal. The second differential amplifier amplifies a second pair of input signals having the first frequency orthogonal to the first pair input signals to generate a second differential signal. The subtracter subtracts the second differential signal from the first differential signal. The mixer mixes the subtracted signal with a first and second pairs of drive signals having a second frequency orthogonal to each other, in a sub-harmonic double balanced mixing mode, so that the mixer generates a pair of output signals orthogonal to each other without secondary harmonics.

A frequency synthesizer is provided. The frequency synthesizer includes an adaptive frequency calibration circuit and a phase locked loop (PLL). The frequency synthesizer performs in a frequency lock mode and in a phase lock mode. In the frequency lock mode, the adaptive frequency calibration circuit compares the frequency of an input signal with the frequency of an output signal of a voltage controlled oscillator of the PLL and outputs control bits as a result of the comparison. The voltage controlled oscillator has a plurality of operating characteristic curves and selects a curve from among the plurality of operating characteristic curves in response to the control bits. In the phase lock mode, the PLL controls an output phase of the voltage controlled oscillator based on a tuning voltage from the selected operating characteristic curve.

A method of receiving broadcasting information using reserved channels according to an aspect of the present invention includes receiving information of a program schedule that includes a dynamic program having a flexible broadcasting schedule, searching one or more reserved channels that receive broadcasting signals according to a new program schedule changed due to the dynamic program, and receiving the broadcasting signals through the one or more searched reserved channels.
