摘要： A channel equalizer includes a channel estimator, a coefficient calculator, a multiplier, and an error remover. The channel estimator estimates a channel impulse response (CIR) of input data in which a known data sequence is periodically inserted. The coefficient calculator calculates equalization coefficients using estimated CIR, and the multiplier multiplies the input data with the equalization coefficients for channel equalization. The error removes estimates a residual carrier phase error of the channel-equalized input data and removes the estimated phase error from the input data.

The dispenser includes a dispensing port in which an object is dispensed, a switch installed in the dispensing port to dispense the object, a support pivotally installed in the dispensing port and unfoldable from a folded state to place various vessels thereon, and an access portion of the support providing access to the switch to activate the switch in the folded state of the support. The access portion may be a cut-off portion such that the switch is inserted into the support to be exposed or an auxiliary switch to transmit force to the switch when the object is dispensed to indirectly activate the switch. Moreover, the support may directly access the switch.

摘要： A digital broadcasting receiving system and method is disclosed. In the data processing method, a known data sequence is tuned so as to be received, when the known data sequence is periodically inserted in valid data and transmitted. Then, the timing error is detected by using a correlation characteristic of the received known data sequence. Thereafter, a timing clock that is in proportion to the detected timing error is created, thereby interpolating the received data.

摘要： A DTV receiver includes a tuner, an information detector, a demodulator, and a channel equalizer. The tuner receives a broadcast signal including valid data in which a known data sequence is periodically repeated. The information detector detects location information of the known data sequence and a coarse frequency offset value of the broadcast signal. The demodulator demodulates the broadcast signal by estimating a fine frequency offset value using the detected location information and by compensating a frequency offset of the broadcast signal using the course and fine frequency offset values. Finally, the channel equalizer compensates channel distortion of the demodulated signal using the detected location information.

摘要： A method for controlling a washing machine having a drying function is disclosed. The method for controlling the washing machine having a drying function includes: a) dehydrating laundry if a command for performing a drying operation is inputted by a user; and b) drying the laundry after the dehydrating step. The dehydrating step a) includes: measuring time until a rotational velocity of a drum reaches a predetermined velocity; calculating an amount of the laundry based on the measured time; determining a dehydration velocity and dehydration time according to the calculated amount of the laundry; and rotating the drum at the dehydration velocity for the dehydration time. The drying step b) includes: hot-air drying the laundry by operating a heater and a blower fan to supply hot air into the drum until dryness of the laundry reaches a predetermined target dryness; and if the dryness of the laundry reaches the predetermined target dryness, cool-air drying the laundry by stopping operation of the heater while keeping operation of the blower fan to supply air of low temperature into the drum for a predetermined time.

It further includes a data interleaver interleaving the RS-coded data packets, a known data generator generating know data symbols, a converter converting the interleaved data packet into symbols, and a symbol processor processing the converted symbols. The symbol processor removes symbols representing the null data, encodes symbols representing the original enhanced data at a rate of N/M, and replaces symbols representing the know data place holders with known data symbols.

摘要： Provided is an LC resonance voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) used for a multi-band multi-mode wireless transceiver. In order to generate a multi-band frequency, a capacitor bank and a switchable inductor are included in the LC resonance voltage-controlled oscillator. The LC resonance voltage-controlled oscillator employs an adjustable emitter-degeneration negative resistance cell in place of tail current sources in order to compensate for non-uniform oscillation amplitude caused by the capacitor bank and prevent the degradation of a phase noise due to the tail current sources. The LC resonance voltage-controlled oscillator includes an inductor providing an inductance element partially determining the frequency of an oscillation wave; a discrete capacitor bank providing a capacitance element partially determining the frequency of the oscillation wave and being discretely determined by a control bit signal; and a discrete negative resistance cell providing a negative resistance element that is discretely determined by the control bit signal, to keep the amplitude of the oscillation wave constant.
