    Abstract: A method to provide information from a first information storage and retrieval system to a second information storage and retrieval system. Applicants' method provides a first information storage and retrieval system, where that first information storage and retrieval system comprises (N) PPRC adapters and information, and provides a second information storage and retrieval system. The method generates and saves an Established Path Bitmap which recites each of the (N) PPRC adapters, and generates an Available Path Bitmap. If a PPRC adapter is in communication with the secondary information storage and retrieval system, then the method adds that adapter to the Available Path Bitmap. The Established Path Bitmap and the Available Path Bitmap are used for subsequent PPRC operations.

    Abstract: Provided are a method, system and program for selecting a path comprising ports on primary and secondary clusters to use to transmit data at a primary volume to a secondary volume. A request is received to copy data from a primary storage location to a secondary storage location. A determination is made from a plurality of primary clusters of an owner primary cluster for the primary storage location, wherein the primary clusters are configured to access the primary storage location. A determination is made as to whether there is at least one port on the owner primary cluster providing an available path to the secondary storage location. One port on the owner primary cluster is selected to use to copy the data to the secondary storage location in response to determining that there is at least one port on the owner primary cluster available to transmit to the secondary storage location.

    Abstract: This invention discloses methods, kits, and instructions to treat neovasculature diseases of the eye through the administration of a targeted photosensitizing agent and subsequent exposure to light of specific wavelength sufficient to photoactivate photosensitizing agent. The photosensitizing agent is bound to a composition that mediates site specific delivery to a neovasculature target tissue of a therapeutically effective amount of a photosensitizing agent that is activated by a relatively low fluence rate of light over a prolonged period of time. Diseases treatable under this invention, include: diabetic retinopathy; macular degeneration; and malignant uveal melanomas.

    Abstract: A technique and mechanism to effect cross-pollination synchronization of PIM (personal information manager) data to multiple sources. Additionally, a novel feature of the subject invention is the ability to effect cross-pollination synchronization with any number of devices and sources in a network. The invention provides for a user to employ a mobile device or set of devices as a central repository for PIM data (e.g., calendar, contacts and tasks) synchronized from multiple sources (e.g., multiple PC's (personal computers), an exchange server). The invention provides for synchronization of PIM data from multiple types of server sources to multiple devices regardless of the synchronization protocol versions and different schemas.
