    摘要: A super-conducting magnet apparatus in an MRI system which may reduce unevenness among magnetization characteristics of ferromagnetic elements arranged between super-conductive shield coils and superconducting main coils. There are provided a pair of super-conducting main coils, a pair of superconductive shield coils arranged on the axes of the pair of super-conducting main coils, being spaced from the pair of super-conducting main coils, and also arranged on opposite sides of a zone to be observed, and ferromagnetic elements arranged in parts of spaces extending from air core parts of the super-conducting main coils to air core parts of the super-conductive shield coils. The super-conductive shield coils have an outer diameter which is larger than that of the super-conducting main coils. The ferromagnetic elements are composed of a plurality of axially symmetric ferromagnetic members which are coaxially arranged, and which have a space in at least a radial part thereof, but not in a center axis part. With this configuration, the magnetic saturation of the ferromagnetic members may be facilitated. Thereby it is possible to reduce the effect of unevenness among magnetization characteristics of the ferromagnetic elements.

    摘要: Disclosed is a modified electroconductive polymer material, which comprises a metal filled in a space between the chains of an electroconductive polymer. The metal is oxidized (partially formed as a hydroxide) through a chemical reaction between three substances consisting of the metal, a cation radical/dication, and absorbed water. The metal has a work function less than that of the electroconductive polymer. The contact between the metal and the electroconductive polymer is kept in the state of coexistence between three substances consisting of the metal, the cation radical/dication and the absorbed water. This allows an electroconductive polymer material to have enhanced durability against oxidation/reduction, and controlled conductivity.

    摘要: A process for producing a transparent or opaque silica glass product including mixing a silica fine powder and a cellulose derivative and injection molding the mixture, followed by degreasing treatment and baking treatment, which is characterized in that the cellulose derivative is a cellulose derivative which causes reversible thermal gelation in an aqueous solution of at least one member selected from methyl cellulose, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose and hydroxyethylmethyl cellulose; in producing a transparent silica glass product, the cellulose derivative is added in water heated at a gelation temperature thereof or higher, and after cooling, the formed aqueous solution is kneaded with the silica fine powder; and in producing an opaque silica glass product, the cellulose derivative is added in a silica slurry containing a silica powder and heated at a gelation temperature of the cellulose derivative or higher.
