Abstract: Disclosed is a rehabilitation training apparatus including a pair of first tracks that are arranged in parallel at an interval, a second track that is perpendicular to the pair of first tracks and is movably connected to the pair of first tracks, a hand holder that is movably provided in the second track and on which a hand of the user is held, a holder driving unit that reciprocally moves the hand holder along the second track, and a track driving unit that reciprocally moves the second track along the pair of first tracks.

Abstract: It is disclosed an apparatus for restoring voluntary control of locomotion in a subject suffering from a neuromotor impairment comprising a multidirectional trunk support system and a device for epidural electrical stimulation. The robotic interface is capable of evaluating, enabling and training motor pattern generation and balance across a variety of natural walking behaviors in subjects with neuromotor impairments. Optionally, pharmacological cocktails can be administered to enhance rehabilitation results. It is also disclosed a method for the evaluation, enablement and training of a subject suffering from neuromotor impairments by combining robotically assisted evaluation tools with sophisticated neurobiomechanical and statistical analyzes. A method for the rehabilitation (by this term also comprising restoring voluntary control of locomotion) of a subject suffering from a neuromotor impairment in particular partial or total paralysis of limbs, is also disclosed.

Abstract: A rebound and balance training device includes a frame, a footboard, and a plurality of resilient spring elements extending between and attached to the frame and the footboard to support the footboard above a supporting surface. A user standing on the footboard manually effects repeated vertical bouncing movement between upper and lower positions. The distance traveled by the footboard, the effort required to effect movement, and the stability thereof may be modified by selectively modifying the number, the length, the position, or the elasticity of the resilient elements. In one embodiment, a pair of footboards is employed to simulate skiing movements.

Abstract: A stretching device that enables a user to employ the mechanical advantage of a multi-pulley system while performing various, prolonged muscle stretches; the stretching device including a first anchor assembly, a second anchor assembly, and a motion transfer line. The first motion transfer line has a first anchor body and a first motion transfer pulley; the first anchor body being attached to the user and the first motion transfer pulley being coupled to the first anchor body. Similarly, the second motion transfer line has a second anchor body and a second motion transfer pulley; the second anchor body being attached to a stationary object and the second motion transfer pulley being coupled to the second anchor body. The motion transfer line is terminally attached to the first anchor body and is trained around both the first motion transfer pulley and the second motion transfer pulley.
