    摘要: A throttle device is provided for driving to open and close a throttle valve which controls an intake air flow rate of an internal combustion engine via an electric actuator. A motor casing receives a motor forming the electric actuator, and a gear casing receives gear mechanism transmitting a driving force of the motor to a valve shaft. Both casings are integrally formed within a throttle body. A motor insertion opening of the motor casing is opened to the gear casings. The motor is mounted by securing a motor bracket by tightening threaded fasteners into a plurality of threaded holes formed on the peripheral edges of the motor insertion opening. The motor bracket has a curved edge between one thread fastening position to another thread fastening position, and the gear casing is provided a curved portion adapting to said curved edge of the motor bracket.

    摘要: This invention relates to a method of operating a camless internal combustion engine, said method comprising: (A) operating said engine using a normally liquid or gaseous fuel composition; and (B) lubricating said engine using a low-phosphorus or phosphorus-free lubricating oil composition, said low-phosphorus or phosphorus-free lubricating oil composition optionally containing an extreme-pressure additive comprised of metal and phosphorus, provided the amount of phosphorus contributed to said low-phosphorus or phosphorus-free lubricating oil composition by said extreme-pressure additive does not exceed about 0.08% by weight based on the weight of said low-phosphorus or phosphorus-free lubricating oil composition. In one embodiment, the inventive method further comprises the following additional steps: (C) removing part of said low-phosphorus or phosphorus-free lubricating oil composition from said engine, said removed part of said low-phosphorus or phosphorus-free lubricating oil composition (i) being combined with said fuel composition and consumed with said fuel composition as said engine is operated or (ii) being combined with the exhaust gas from said engine and removed from said engine with said exhaust gas; and (D) adding an additional amount of said low-phosphorus or phosphorus-free lubricating oil composition to said engine to replace said removed part of said low-phosphorus or phosphorus-free lubricating oil composition.

    摘要: A composite mixture of spherical objects and lubricant useful for its cushioning properties is disclosed and claimed. The composite mixture may be composed of microspheres typically less than 2000 microns in diameter with inert atmospheres sealed within their interiors and any of a variety of lubricants facilitating sliding and rolling movement between microspheres. Typically the composite mixture includes lubricant in a quantity sufficient to substantially coat the exterior surface of essentially all of the spherical objects, but in a quantity less than would cause dispersion of the spherical objects in the lubricant sufficient to physically separate the spherical objects from each other and substantially reduce the sliding and rolling contact of the spherical objects with each other. Low specific gravity, low thermal mass, low coefficient of heat transfer, lack of head pressure, insulative and flotation qualities are provided by the invention. The composite mixture may be contained in fluid-tight confinement within a flexible bladder. The preferred bladder has a stretchable fabric laminated to an impermeable, stretchable film.

    摘要: A solid lubricant application procedure is combined in-line with a steel strip processing method which comprises processing steps upstream and downstream of the lubricant application procedure. The latter comprises applying the lubricant material in molten form or as a solution and may include temperature adjusting steps both upstream and downstream of the lubricant material-applying step. The space for incorporating the lubricant application procedure into the steel strip processing line is limited. The strip speed in the lubricant application procedure is synchronized with the strip speed normally attained in the steel strip processing method in the absence of an in-line lubricant application procedure. The steps of the lubricant application procedure are constrained to accommodate the space limits and strip speed synchronization requirement imposed on the lubricant application procedure when it is combined in-line with the steel strip processing method.

    摘要: A method for forming a lubricant coat on a surface of steel slug to be forged and a forging device provided with a lubricant coat forming system. The method makes possible the forging of hard to work material, such as stainless steel. Highly durable parts can be manufactured easily. The durability of the metal molds of the forging device is increased, thereby decreasing the cost for the manufacture of the parts. In the method, the uniformly thick lubricant coat can be formed easily even on the transformed end surfaces of the material being worked, providing effective lubrication. The lubricant coat forming member can replace the oil lubrication of the related-art forging device of the inline type, in which the cut end surfaces of the material are not lubricated, without modifying the structure of the related-art forging device especially. The forging device of this invention continuously forges the material, lengthening the interval for replacing metal molds and decreasing the cost for the manufacture of the parts.
