    摘要: An elongate metallic or polymeric or composite tape is disclosed along with a method of manufacturing such tape. The tape is of a type suitable for forming at least one helically wound layer of interlocked windings in a flexible pipe body for transporting production fluids. The tape is configured for interlocking of adjacent windings in the layer of tape by nesting a hooked region of a winding in a valley region of an adjacent winding. The tape comprises first and second elongate tape elements arranged in contacting relation.

    摘要: A structural element for reinforcing a fuselage cell of an aircraft is provided. The structural element comprises a reinforcement profile which is made in one piece from a metallic material. The profile is provided with a strap at least in regions. As a result of the strap which is made of a fibre-reinforced layer material or fibre metal laminate and is adhesively bonded, at least in regions, to a flange of the reinforcement profile the structural element has high damage tolerance and advantageous fatigue properties. The fibre metal laminate or layer material is made of a plurality of metal layers and fibre-reinforced plastics material layers which are stacked in alternating fashion and adhesively bonded to one another over the entire surface. The reinforcement profile and the strap are joined by means of a joining layer. Said joining layer is preferably constructed from two prepreg layers and a non-fibre-reinforced adhesive layer.

The device also comprises a mandrel configured to position the tubular material so that the roller can apply pressure against at least a portion of the outer surfaces of the side section and can extend the side section of the tubular material to form the product.

    摘要: A composite cast tool is cast in one continuous piece, partly of steel and partly of grey iron, so that an interconnection zone is formed between the steel and the grey iron. The steel portion forms the working component of the tool, for example a cutting edge, and the grey iron portion forms the body component of the tool. The steel portion and the grey iron portion have projections or walls extending towards one another. The interconnection zone is located in the region of union between these walls and is planar.
