    摘要: The invention relates to a process for producing polypropylene bottles comprising, forming a polypropylene preform by injection molding, cooling the polypropylene preform to ambient temperature, preheating the preform article, wherein the temperature around the circumference of the preform article has a temperature delta of less than 5 degrees Celsius at any height along the preform, inserting the preheated preform into a cavity of a stretch blow molding machine, and stretch blow molding the preform into a polypropylene bottle at a rate of at least 1000 bottles per cavity per hour, wherein the polypropylene bottle has a wall thickness delta at any given height along the bottle of less than 30% of the average wall thickness at the given height. The invention also relates to the polypropylene bottle made from this process.

    摘要: A process, system, and apparatus for effectively and economically producing fermentable sugars from cellulosic feedstocks is described. The economic viability of using wood and/or agricultural waste, containing large fractions of cellulose and hemicellulose is highly dependent on the method used for hydrolysis. Underlying the gist of this invention are newly discovered methods, means, and techniques by which both the pentosans and hexosans comprising the hemicellulose fraction of the selected feedstock and the hexosans comprising the cellulose fraction of the selected feedstock can be quickly and efficiently converted in a single pass through a single device to fermentable sugars containing minimal quantities of degradation products known to inhibit fermentation. Successful operation of this new hydrolysis process employing a new reactor design can produce fermentable sugars at rates and efficiencies previously thought unattainable by reducing the number of processing steps, pieces of equipment, and unit operation previously used.

    摘要: A system is designed to measure concrete rheological properties which includes a concrete plant, a measuring unit and a mix changing unit. The measuring unit includes a surface in contact with a part of a mass of the concrete mix, a shearing unit for effecting shear deformation in the mass and at least one sensor which senses a measure of the force which is transferred to the surface by the concrete mass as a result of the shear deformation. The rheological profile is produced by: a) sensing at least one measure of the force which is transferred to the surface under at least two different stress states, b) determining i) the sensitivity of each of the at least one measure to a change in stress state and ii) the workability of the mix and c) creating the rheological profile from at least the sensitivity and workability.

The tiles are made by initially preparing a mixture of water, starch, boric acid and fire clay. That initial mixture is then heated to form a gel. Fiber glass is then added to the gel to form a pulp. The pulp is fed into trays to form slabs. The slabs are dried and finished into tiles.

    摘要: Acid resistant concrete articles, especially sulfur concrete pipes manufactured from a material formulated on the basis of a composition of portland cement concrete suitable for the manufacture of pipes by means of the dry casting method, the volume of portland cement, filler and water being replaced by a substantially equivalent volume of sulfur cement and filler, while the amount of other components remains substantially unchanged. The sulfur concrete pipes are manufactured by mixing the components of the material and adjusting the mixture to a temperature, where sulfur cement is liquid. At this temperature the mixture is cast while being subjected to vigorous vibration, using a casting mould preheated to a temperature of up to 160.degree. C. The cast pipes can be removed from the mould immediately after casting. After only 24 hours they have obtained sufficient strength for being delivered to a building site. Sulfur concrete pipes are most suitable in aggressive environments since they are resistant to acid and salt attacks.
