摘要: An uncoated nonwoven fibrous mat having a reduced air porosity is disclosed comprising a first plurality of fibers having a length between about 10 mm and 20 mm and an average diameter between about 9 μm and 15 μm; a second plurality of fibers having a length between about 3 mm and 8 mm and an average diameter between about 5 μm and 8 μm; and a binder composition. The uncoated nonwoven fibrous mat has an air porosity less than about 550 CFM.

摘要: A ceiling material body (1a) includes a substrate layer (2) formed from rigid urethane foam; a first fiber-reinforced layer (3) provided on an in-cabin side of the substrate layer (2); a second fiber-reinforced layer (4) provided on an out-cabin side of the substrate layer (2); a surface layer (5) provided on an in-cabin side of the first fiber-reinforced layer (3); and a back layer (6) provided on an out-cabin side of the second fiber-reinforced layer (4). The second fiber-reinforced layer (4) includes a glass paper (7) overlaying the substrate layer (2) and a glass mat (8) overlaying an opposite side of the glass paper (7) from the substrate layer (2).

摘要: A paper-like nanocomposite material based on mineral fibers, which can be used as a capillary-porous element of evaporative-type air-cooling units. The material is made using glass fibers with a diameter of 0.4 μm as mineral fibers and sodium aluminate and aluminum sulfate as a binder. The material is made on traditional papermaking equipment using casting technique with a specified ratio of the above components.

The ceiling tile, flooring product, or other construction product may further include perlite, mineral wool, wood pulp, starch and other additives, where the wood pulp and other inorganic particulate materials are bonded to the microfibrillated cellulose. Methods of manufacturing the compound are also disclosed.

摘要: The paper-like nanocomposite material can be used as capillary-porous elements of evaporative-type air-cooling units. As mineral fibers, glass fibers with a diameter of 0.4 μm are used. These fibers are hydrophilic; they do not swell and have a large specific surface area. As a binder, sodium aluminate and aluminum sulfate are used at a predetermined ratio.The material is made on traditional papermaking equipment using casting technique with a specified ratio of the above components.The technical result is the obtainment of a paper-like material having high properties in height and time of water rise, moisture capacity and strength. The material is also characterized by thermic, chemical and biological stability, absence of toxicity and zero emission of substances harmful to the human body into the air, resistance of its properties to the effects of mold, fungi and microorganisms in the aquatic environment.

摘要: An acoustical tile including: 8 to 25 wt % mineral wool, 9 to 15 wt % starch binder, 9 to 15 wt % cellulosic fiber, wherein preferably the cellulosic fiber is newsprint, and 40 to 65 wt % perlite, wherein the weight ratio of the starch to the cellulosic fiber is 0.6 to 1.3:1; and a process for making the acoustical tile.
