摘要: A method and device are provided that detect and identify a neural signal by type and optionally or automatically provide a signal that affects a nerve carrying the neural signal. A plurality of electrodes is positioned along a nerve and monitors the electrical activity of the nerve. The invented system analyzes the monitored data to determine when the monitored activity can be identified as a known type of bioelectric signal, e.g., a pain nerve signal. The system may optionally attempt to affect, disrupt, diminish, nullify or block transmission of bioelectric signals along the nerve, e.g., by directing electrical energy through an electrode to nullify a bioelectric signal along a pain nerve.

摘要: A test chip module for testing the integrity of the nip chip solder ball interconnections between chip and substrate. The interconnection, are thermally stressed through an array of individual heaters formed in a layer of chip metallurgy to provide a uniform and ubiquitous source of heat. Current is passed through the interconnection to be tested by a current supply circuit using one signal I/O interconnection and the voltage drop across the interconnection to be tested from the current passed therethrough is measured by a voltage measuring circuit connected through another signal I/O interconnection. Stress initiating cracking and degradation at the interconnection creates a measurable change in voltage drop across the interconnection.

摘要: Shaving apparatus provides a drivable shaving unit (3) for performing a first shaving action on a user's skin; a motor (2) adapted to drive said shaving unit (3) to perform the first shaving action; a blade (11) having a razor-sharp cutting edge positioned for shaving engagement with the user's skin; and a guard surface (14) provided in front of the razor-sharp blade (11). During use, the blade (11) performs a second shaving action to cut hair whilst the drivable shaving unit (3) performs the first shaving action. In various embodiments, the first shaving unit may be rotary or linear and may have a static or moving skin-engaging cutter. Two razor-sharp blades may be provided, facing in opposite directions.

摘要: Methods, systems, and computer program products sustain a fleet of configuration-controlled assets. The method involves integrating a plurality of previously separate systems with reusable business transactions associated with managing a fleet of vehicles. The method also involves receiving operational data associated with a vehicle of the fleet, integrating the operational data per customer requirements, packaging and distributing the operational data to the plurality of systems, and installing and distributing the operational data to one or more applications of the plurality of systems utilizing reusable business transactions. The system utilizes a plurality of applications and a plurality of logical subsystems, which are connected to each other through gateways. The logical subsystems use a common format defined by a set of messages. However, the applications can use a plurality of different formats. The gateways, which are the connecting blocks, convert the data flow between the logical subsystems and the applications.
