摘要： To provide a failure diagnosis apparatus for an exhaust gas recirculation system which is capable of eliminating the influence of various disturbance factors that vary the suction air pressure, diagnosing a failure of the exhaust gas recirculation system on the basis of the suction air pressure, and preventing wrong diagnosis. A failure diagnosis apparatus for an exhaust gas recirculation system consists of a fresh air pressure estimating means 2911 for calculating an estimated fresh air pressure inside a suction pipe from the operating condition of an internal combustion engine, an actual EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) gas pressure estimating means 2914 for estimating an EGR gas pressure on the basis of a measured suction pipe pressure detected by a suction pipe pressure detecting means 2911 and an estimated fresh air pressure calculated above, and a failure judging means 2910 for judging the failure on the basis of the estimated EGR gas pressure and the detected operating condition.

摘要： An engine control system for an engine system with electromagnetically operated intake and exhaust valves has a control unit. The control unit is arranged to decide whether each of the intake and exhaust valves is put in an abnormal condition, to close a normal valve of the intake and exhaust valves when one of the intake and exhaust valves is put in the abnormal condition, and to stop the current-flowing to a primary ignition coil when one of the intake and exhaust valves is put in the abnormal condition and when the primary ignition coil is not starting the current-flowing.

摘要： A transmission control system can reduce degradation of engine characteristics upon shifting operation and can reduce a load on the side of a clutch and a transmission due to delay of response. The transmission control system includes an engine generating a driving force, a transmission having a plurality of gear positions for transmitting the driving force developed by the engine to driving wheels, a clutch for connecting said engine and said transmission, engine control means for controlling the engine, transmission control unit for switching gear positions of the transmission, and clutch control unit for controlling disengagement and engagement of the clutch. The transmission control system further includes an electric motor connected to a drive shaft of the engine and capable of performing regenerating operation, and motor control unit for controlling said electric motor for driving the electric motor for generating a driving force or for performing regenerating operation. The motor control unit transmits said driving force to the driving wheel upon shifting operation by the transmission and performs regenerating portion by an energy from the driving wheels.

摘要： An engine control unit is configured to detect the revolution of an engine and to obtain the intensity of both the first order component of revolution for every combustion (one cycle per combustion) and the second order component of revolution. The second order is twice as much as the first order component. The unit further obtains dispersion or deviation in these intensities. Thereby, it is possible to detect combustion conditions and to correct them to desirable conditions.

摘要： A modular jack incorporating a varistor. The varistor reduces noise and surge (abnormal voltage) entering the modular jack, and thereby an electronic appliance such as a telephone connected with the modular jack is not affected by the noise and surge. The varistor is electrically connected between at least a pair of contact leads. Alternatively the varistor is electrically connected between the pair of contact leads and a grounding terminal. Further, the modular jack incorporates a common mode choke coil so as to obtain a common mode noise reduction effect.

摘要： A retainer for insert-retaining a plurality of pin terminals includes a ferrite member having an aligned arrangement of through holes formed at insertion positions of the pin terminals and a resin member covering one surface of the ferrite member. The resin member also has an aligned arrangement of holes for receiving the pin terminals. The ferrite member functions as a filter element to reduce noise. Thin portions are formed along the inner circumferential surfaces of resin member defining the holes. The thin portions are deformed or fractured by the insertion of the pin terminals, and then each deformed or fractured portion is sandwiched between the inserted pin terminal and the inner circumferential surface to thereby elastically engage the pin terminal, resulting in the retainer being secured to the pin terminals in a manner which prevents the terminals from shifting in position.

摘要： A surface mounting type connector has a connector plug on its front and has a connector housing from which connector pins project at the rear. The connector pin holder is placed at the rear of the connector housing, and has through holes formed therein. Each of these through holes in positioned corresponding to one of the connector pins. On the inner surfaces of the through holes, through-hole conductors are formed. On one or both main planes of the connector pin holder, conductive patterns are connected to each of the through-hole conductors. Each of the tips of the connector pins is inserted into one of the through holes in the connector pin holder, and these tips of the connector pins are connected to the corresponding conductive patterns via the through-hole conductors. The connector housing is mounted onto the circuit board with its bottom plane on the circuit board, and the conductive patterns on the connector pin holder are connected to correspond with circuit patterns that are formed on the surface of the circuit board.

摘要： In the chip type component installation structure wherein chips are arranged to be joined by solder to a fitting pattern provided on a printed substrate, resist films are set separately in the space of the fitting pattern in order to reduce the quantity of solder. The resist films are set in the space of the fitting pattern separately, so that the structure provides a lesser quantity of solder to join and fix chips, a continuous solder band over the fitting pattern, and a lesser but sufficient quantity of the solder. The structure prevents cracks and breakages of chips due to the expansion and contraction of solder, increases the polarity of solder against chips and electrodes, shortens the soldering time, and increases the reliability of chip installation work.

摘要： A filter connector comprises a connector body which includes a conductive shell and an insulating insert provided in the conductive shell and having a plurality of through holes. First ends of upper first terminal pins are inserted in the through holes of the insert. Second ends of the first terminal pins pass out the back of the connector body. At least one of the plurality of terminal pins is adapted to support a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board has a conductive pattern which is electrically connected with at least one of the upper first terminal pins. A second terminal pin is electrically connected to the conductive pattern, whereby the second terminal pin is electrically connected with at least one of the first terminal pins. A plurality of filter elements are inserted in a current path between at least one of the first terminal pins and the second terminal pin. At least one of the filter elements is provided on the printed circuit board, and is inserted in the current path by being electrically connected to the conductive pattern on the printed circuit board.
