摘要: Provided is a molded filter used for a flexible disposable bag which is produced so as to be capable of sucking and storing, for example, bodily secretions of a patient and being disposed when a fixed storage amount is reached, wherein a laminate of at least two elements of a powdered hydrophilic swelling agent and a charged nonwoven fabric, and more preferably, a laminate of three elements with a hydrophobic porous film added thereto, is used as a filter base material and the charged nonwoven fabric is arranged downstream of the powdered hydrophilic swelling agent in a direction of flow of expiratory air inside the body. Thus, the molded filter has functions of air permeability that is equal to or higher than a PE sintered body CMC filter, short term and long term waterproof properties, and a better microbial barrier property.

摘要: A device for blocking the nasal airway at the opening of the nostrils has two tubes that terminate at distal tips. The tubes are each separated into channels, or lumens, running the length of the tubes, including an outer lumen that extends from an inflation connection port to an inflatable donut just below the distal tip of each tube. With the distal tips received in the respective left and right nostrils of the user, the donuts are inflated to close off the nostrils at the rim, adjacent the nasal vestibule. Filters may be provided between the inflation ports and the distal tips for cleaning air prior to entry into the nasal cavity. The device may further include left and right ear straps to secure the device on the user's ears.

摘要: A surgical gas delivery device includes a filter cartridge interface and a computer controlled control unit configured to control the circulation of surgical gas during endoscopic surgery. The control unit can operate in a plurality of different modes of operation. A tube set for connecting the surgical gas delivery device to one or more end effectors includes a filter cartridge in fluid communication with the tube set. The filter cartridge is seated in the filter cartridge interface of the surgical gas delivery device to communicate surgical gas between the surgical gas delivery device and the one or more end effectors. The surgical gas delivery device includes a reader operatively connected to receive input from a data carrying element of the tube set. The data carrying element, reader, and control unit can launch a specific one of the modes of operation when the filter cartridge is inserted.

摘要: A wound therapy device is disclosed. The wound therapy device may include a housing for covering at least a portion of a wound and for sealing to a body surface of a patient. The housing may also include a liquid collector for retaining liquid therein and a vacuum connection for coupling to a vacuum source. The vacuum connection may be in gaseous communication with the liquid collector. The vacuum connection may be separated from the liquid collector by a liquid barrier.

摘要: A device for preventing contamination of a positive-pressure connector (6) of an indwelling needle and a method based on same. The device comprises a shell (1), a connecting port (3) fixedly connected to the shell (1) and used for connecting to the positive-pressure connector (6), an air pressure balance hole (5) disposed opposite to the connecting port (3) and provided on the shell (1), and a filtering membrane (2) provided between the air pressure balance hole (5) and the connecting port (3). The device is simple in structure, adopts a structural design of the filtering membrane (2), can filter microorganisms, bacteria, viruses, dusts, and particulate pollution sources, and is used during indwelling of infusion intervals to prevent the positive-pressure connector (6) from being exposed to the air and maintain the aseptic state and positive-pressure condition of the positive-pressure connector (6) during indwelling.

摘要: An infectious aerosol capture mask (IACM) includes a face tent coupled to a suction tube adapter. The face tent includes a proximal opening configured to be disposed over the mouth and nose of a patient. The face tent further includes a distal opening with a smaller diameter than the proximal opening. A coupler is configured to secure the suction tube adapter to the distal opening of the face tent. The suction tube adapter includes a suction port configured to be coupled to a suction tube for active capture of infectious aerosol and left unconnected for passive capture of infectious aerosol. A viral filter is disposed between the suction port and the face tent to capture infectious aerosols expelled by the patient. The IACM further includes one or more one-way valves that are configured to permit airflow into the face tent.
