    Abstract: In a stator having a stator core and phase windings, slots are formed in the stator core and each slot accommodates conductors in a layer structure from one end to the other end of the slot in a radial direction of the stator core. The phase windings in one phase have conductors accommodated in a first slot and a second slot which are adjacently formed in the stator core. An electrical connection between the conductors in a n-th layer and the conductors in a (n+1)-th layer includes that the conductors accommodated in the first slot are electrically connected together, the conductors accommodated in the second slot are electrically connected together, and the conductors accommodated in the first slot are electrically connected with the conductors accommodated in the second slot. This connection eliminates a phase difference in the first slot and the second slot in a distributed winding structure.

    Abstract: A stator includes a stator core having slots arranged in a circumferential direction and a stator coil formed by wave-winding continuous coil wires on the stator core. Each of the continuous coil wires has in-slot portions received in the slots and turn portions each of which connects, on the outside of the slots, one pair of the in-slot portions. The stator coil is formed, by spirally rolling a band-shaped coil wire bundle that is formed by bundling the continuous coil wires, into a cylindrical shape. In the coil wire bundle, the continuous coil wires are transposed at a plurality of locations. Moreover, in a range where the continuous coil wires extend in the circumferential direction of the stator core by one complete turn, at least one interval between adjacent transposition locations in the coil wire bundle is greater than or equal to the circumferential length of one turn portion.

    Abstract: An armature for a rotary electric machine includes: a core that includes a plurality of teeth that are arranged at a predetermined pitch in a circumferential direction; and a plurality of edgewise coils that are configured by winding a rectangular conductor wire into an edgewise winding, the plurality of edgewise coils each include rectilinear portions and coil end portions that are arranged radially, and that are each linked by bent portions, the rectilinear portions are arranged radially on circumferential side portions of the teeth so as to be gradually further away from a central axis of the teeth from a tip end of the teeth toward a root, and radially adjacent portions of the rectangular conductor wire are configured such that bulging portions that arise due to compressive stresses resulting from bending at inner peripheral side portions of the bent portions do not face each other.

    Abstract: A stator for a rotating electric machine includes an annular stator core and a plurality of winding groups mounted on teeth of the stator core. Each of the winding groups is either a short-pitch winding group which consists of windings wound at a pitch shorter than 180° in electrical angle or a full-pitch winding group which consists of windings wound at a pitch equal to 180° in electrical angle. The winding groups include at least one short-pitch winding group pair which consists of two short-pitch winding groups that respectively belong to two different phases and are circumferentially adjacent to each other. The two short-pitch winding groups are arranged so as not to overlap each other in a radial direction of the stator core. There are no other winding groups interposed between the two short-pitch winding groups in the circumferential direction of the stator core.

    Abstract: A stator having good electric characteristics is reasonably configured. The stator includes a stator core including an annular core portion centered around a rotational axis of a rotor and a plurality of teeth portions protruding radially from the core portion, a core wire wound around the teeth portions, a resin plate to be superposed on the stator core along the rotational axis, the resin plate defining a hole therethrough along the rotational axis, into which hole an end portion of the coil wire is inserted, and a resin portion in which the stator core, the coil wire and the plate are embedded. The end of the coil wire is directly connected to a bus bar for electric power supply or grounding, with the end of the coil wire being exposed from the resin portion.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a DC motor structure with a hollow rotor and inner and outer stators includes a housing, a commutator, and an output element, in addition to the hollow rotor and the stators. The commutator and the output element are received at the front and rear ends of the housing respectively. The outer stator, the hollow rotor, and the inner stator are sequentially arranged in the housing in a direction toward the central axis of the housing. The hollow rotor between the stators is wound with plural windings and has a front end and a rear end respectively connected to the commutator and the output element. When each winding receives a current from the commutator, the hollow rotor generates a corresponding electromagnetic field such that the commutator and the output element rotate simultaneously with the hollow rotor to output directly through the output element the rotating force generated by the hollow rotor.
