摘要: A dispenser or applicator of garden liquids such as herbicides and pesticides. It is a long tube, preferably translucent, that has an applicator tip assembly at the base that dispenses a quantity of the liquid to one plant at a time in an exact spot while the user remains standing comfortably (without having to bend or stoop over). The device also has a spray nozzle so that a larger area can be sprayed, if desired. Finally, it has a top cap that has a small opening in it that allows a user to invert the device and apply the liquid to a larger area by simply moving the device around and sprinkling the liquid where desired. Because the tube is long, the user can remain standing comfortable and the liquid is dispensed at ground level. The device also comes with a small mounting bracket for securing it on a wall.

摘要: An apparatus and methods for delivering a particulate product onto a soil surface proximate adjacently spaced crop rows. The apparatus includes a plurality of drop members supported by and spaced laterally along a boom structure such that each drop member is positioned between two adjacently spaced crop rows. The drop member extends downwardly from the boom structure toward the soil surface. The drop member supports a hopper which receives a quantity of particulate product. Diverging particulate product passageways supported from a lower portion of the drop member deliver the particulate product from the hoppers onto the soil surface adjacent the two adjacently spaced crop rows. In alternative embodiments, the drop members may also support liquid passageways for delivering liquid product to the soil surface with the particulate product and the drop members may support spray assemblies for spraying plants in the adjacent crop rows.

摘要: A soil detection and planting apparatus. The apparatus includes a vehicle and a controller coupled to the vehicle. The apparatus further includes a planting device coupled to the vehicle, the planting device configured to plant seeds or plants into a soil material. The apparatus includes a ground penetrating radar sensor coupled to the vehicle. The ground penetrating radar soil sensor is configured to scan the soil material up to a designated depth beneath a surface of the soil material, wherein the ground penetrating radar soil sensor is further configured to provide a sensor feedback signal to the controller with respect to an intrinsic characteristic of the soil material. The controller is configured to instruct placement of a seed or a plant into the soil material based on the feedback signal.

摘要: Various methods and apparatuses may be used to spray sloped surfaces, such as by using a nozzle (1). The method of the invention for spraying a fluid on turf having sloped surfaces may include spraying the fluid using a flat fan spray angle between 110 and 130 degrees and an inclination angle between 4.5 and 9.0 degrees. In some implementations, spraying the fluid may include spraying the fluid using a flat fan spray angle of approximately 120 or 127 degrees. In some implementations, spraying the fluid may include spraying the fluid using an inclination angle of approximately 4.5 degrees. In some implementations, spraying the fluid may include spraying the fluid using an inclination angle of approximately 6.5 degrees. In some implementations, spraying the fluid may include spraying the fluid using an inclination angle of approximately 9.0 degrees. In some implementations, the inclination angle may include a backward facing angle. In some implementations, the orifice of the nozzle (1) is formed by the interaction of a bent “vee” slot cut (10) though a hemispherically terminated hole creating a truncated elliptical orifice hole.
