A method for preparing a positive active material for a lithium ion secondary battery, the method including obtaining a mixture by mixing a lithium containing compound and metal oxide, distributing powder of a lithium containing compound into a furnace, and heat treating the mixture in the furnace, wherein a thermal decomposition temperature of the lithium containing compound power distributed into the furnace is lower than that of the lithium containing compound mixed with the metal oxide.

On the back surface of the floor covering material is a layer of polyurethane having a cure index of between approximately 70 and 90. A method of using the floor covering product is also disclosed.

The method includes performing various cycles according to a selected course, beginning a rinse cycle during the execution of the various cycles, controlling the operation of a heater and a wash pump according to whether the rinse cycle was specified as a hot rinse cycle, ending the operation of the wash pump upon completion of the rinse cycle, and performing subsequent cycles.

A drying machine according to the present invention includes an interface unit connected to a separate washing machine with a data communication line for receiving load information from the washing machine, a rotatable drum containing a load of wet clothes which are previously washed by the washing machine, and an air supply system coupled to the drum for supplying dry air into the drum. The machine further includes a heater coupled to the air supply system for heating the dry air, and a dryer controller generating a control signal to the heater in accordance with a set of operation values which are determined based on the load information. A method of operating a drying machine according to the present invention includes the steps of receiving load information from a separate washing machine that performs wash/dehydration cycles on a load of clothes, determining a set of optimal operation values for operating a heater on the basis of the load information where the heater heats the dry air being supplied into a drum containing the load of wet clothes, and generating a control signal to the heater in accordance with the determined optional values.

In a method of inputting/outputting data in a semiconductor memory device, first data and second data are buffered and outputted to a first output node and a second output node, respectively, in a normal mode. In a test mode, the first data is buffered through a first transmission line and a second transmission line and outputted to the first output node and the second output node in response to at least one control signal. Also, in the test mode, the second data is buffered through the first transmission line and the second transmission line and outputted to the first output node and the second output node in response to the at least one control signal. Accordingly, test time may be reduced, and variations of operation characteristics caused by merging the data pins may also be reduced.

Prosthetic intervertebral discs and methods for using the same are described. The subject prosthetic discs include upper and lower endplates separated by a compressible core member. The prosthetic discs described herein include one-piece, two-piece, three-piece, and four-piece structures. The subject prosthetic discs exhibit stiffness in the vertical direction, torsional stiffness, bending stiffness in the saggital plane, and bending stiffness in the front plane, where the degree of these features can be controlled independently by adjusting the components of the discs. The interface mechanism between the endplates and the core members of several embodiments of the described prosthetic discs enables a very easy surgical operation for implantation.

Provided is a differential pair interconnection apparatus for providing a differential signal on a printed circuit board having signal paths for high-speed differential signals to an external circuit and providing a signal inputted from the external circuit to the printed circuit board without any signal distortion. According to the differential pair interconnection apparatus of the present invention, there can be provided two separate physical channels without impedance mismatching.
