摘要: To maintain physical fitness and health of middle-aged and older persons living in the threshold of the aging society, the present invention provides a fatigue reducing agent which is highly effective for preventing and reducing fatigue, wherein the agent is made of a composition of substances that are very safe so that long-term administration is possible. A composition containing reduced coenzyme Q was found to be effective for preventing and reducing fatigue, including muscle fatigue. Since the fatigue reducing effect of the composition of the present invention is seen not only in young rats but also more pronounced in aged rats, the present invention can provide the fatigue reducing agent which is very useful, especially, for middle-aged and older persons as well as for young people.

摘要: A blood pressure information measurement device instantaneously changes cuff pressure in a specified pressure section in order to detect a control target value in artery volume constant control. An artery volume signal is detected in that period, and an inflection point of the detected artery volume signal is detected by performing differentiation processing or the like. The inflection point of the detected artery volume signal is fixed as the control target value.

摘要: A liquid ejection head includes a substrate having an energy-generating device configured to generate energy used for ejecting a liquid from an orifice; a transparent channel wall member forming an inner wall of a channel leading to the orifice; and an intermediate layer disposed between and in contact with a surface of the substrate and the channel wall member and having a refractive index different from a refractive index of the channel wall member. The intermediate layer has a first outer end surface forming contours of a symbol as viewed in a direction from the orifice toward the substrate and making a first angle with the surface of the substrate and a second outer end surface facing the channel and making a second angle with the surface of the substrate. The first angle is an obtuse angle. The second angle is smaller than the first angle.

摘要: A resin sheet that is comprised of a thermoplastic resin capable of being thermally welded to a lining material of a main pipe is attached to a flange of a lateral pipe liming material via a resin-absorbing material. The resin sheet and the resin-absorbing material are thermally welded. The flange and the resin-absorbing material are respectively impregnated with a thermoplastic resin, which is cured to bond the flange and the resin-absorbing material. A similar configuration is provided to the bottom side of the flange as well. The resin sheet of the thermoplastic resin is integrally bonded to the flange, so that the flange of the lateral pipe lining material and the main pipe lining material can be reliably bonded by a simple method through thermally welding of the lining material of the main pipe and the resin sheet, even in a case in which the flange is hard.

摘要: A blood pressure information measurement device includes a main body, including an inflation pump and an exhaust valve, and a cuff, including an air bladder for pulse wave measurement and an air bladder for blood pressure value measurement. The air bladder for pulse wave measurement and the air bladder for blood pressure value measurement are wrapped around a proximal side and a distal side of the upper arm, respectively. A first piping portion connects the air bladder for blood pressure value measurement to the inflation pump and the exhaust valve. A second piping portion branching from the first piping portion connects the air bladder for pulse wave measurement to the first piping portion. The second piping portion includes a 2-port valve that switches between connecting and disconnecting the air bladder for pulse wave measurement and the first piping portion, and a pressure sensor for measuring a pulse wave.

摘要: A blood pressure measurement device accurately calculates an index useful in determining the degree of arteriosclerosis by accurately detecting a difference in time of appearance of a ejection wave and reflected wave in a blood pressure waveform. The device sets a threshold value based on an index that expresses a characteristic of the blood pressure waveform with respect to the point of appearance of the reflected wave in the blood pressure and estimates a rise point of the reflected wave by calculating an x-coordinate value of a point based on a maximum amplitude of the reflected wave and the threshold value. The device obtains the index of degree of arteriosclerosis by calculating a time difference in appearance between the ejection wave and the reflected wave based on the estimated rise point of the reflected wave.
