摘要: A hydraulic control device includes an oil pan; an oil pump; a strainer; a pressure regulating valve; an oil cooler; a cooler bypass valve with an input port that is connected with a cooler supply oil passage through which the hydraulic oil to be supplied to the oil cooler flows, wherein the input port is communicatively connected with an output port when the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic oil within the cooler supply oil passage is equal to or greater than a predetermined valve opening pressure; and a cooler bypass oil passage that connects the output port of the cooler bypass valve with an intake oil passage between the strainer and the intake port of the oil pump.

The controller starts a load limit control that limits a load exerted to the rotating electric machine when a temperature of the rotating electric machine exceeds a load limit start temperature; detects a loading state or a towing state of the vehicle; and determines the load limit start temperature based on the loading state or the towing state detected.

摘要: When a reduction in a supply hydraulic pressure to a second shift portion is sensed, an engagement command of C0 clutch is generated so that a power split device (electrical differential portion) is brought into a locked state. In the locked state, a sun gear, a carrier rotated by an engine and a ring gear rotated by a second MG integrally rotate, whereby inertia is increased. Thus, high-speed rotation of a transmission member corresponding to an input shaft of the second shift portion can be prevented.

摘要: A power transmission apparatus for a vehicle includes: a first shift unit; a second shift unit; an electric motor connected to a rotating element of the first shift unit or the second shift unit so that the rotational speed changes in accordance with a gear-shift of the first shift unit or the second shift unit; and a control unit that controls at least one of start timings of inertia phases of the gear-shifts of the first and second shift units using the electric motor, when the gear-shifts of the first and second shift units are performed simultaneously and gear ratios of the first and second shift units are changed in opposite directions. With this control, in the simultaneous gear-shift, the gear-shift of one of the shift units is started and completed in a period from start of the gear-shift of the other shift unit until completion of this gear-shift.

摘要: In a vehicular hydraulic control circuit equipped with a mechanically-operated oil pump and an electrically-operated oil pump, a hydraulic control device is provided for reducing a high load imposed on the electrically-operated oil pump, when the electrically-operated oil pump is started during stoppage of the mechanically-operated oil pump. When the electrically-operated oil pump (72) is started from a state in which both the mechanically-operated oil pump (70) and the electrically-operated oil pump (72) are stopped, the mechanically-operated oil pump (70) is pre-started, and then the electrically-operated oil pump (72) is started. Therefore, oil pressure pre-generated by the mechanically-operated oil pump (70) can reduce a load imposed on the electrically-operated oil pump (72). As a result, excessive current that may occur in a control circuit for the electrically-operated oil pump (72) can be prevented.

摘要: A control device for hybrid vehicle drive apparatus has a differential mechanism operative to perform a differential action and an electric motor. The control device prevents a second electric motor from reaching a high-speed rotation with a likelihood of degradation occurring in durability of the second electric motor when a “D” position is switched into an “N” position during a running of a vehicle. When a shift lever (49) is shifted into the “N” position during the vehicle running to interrupt a power transmitting path of an automatic shifting portion (20), a differential action of a power distributing mechanism (16) is limited. A limited differential action suppresses increases in rotation speeds of rotary members such as a clutch or a brake of the automatic shifting portion (20), a second electric motor (M2) and a differential-portion planetary gear (P0) or the like. Thus, degradation in durability of such rotary members due to high-speed rotations thereof can be minimized.

摘要: An oil return structure for a vehicle drive apparatus includes a hydraulic control apparatus disposed below an oil supply target device to which oil for lubricating and cooling is supplied; and an oil pan that retains the oil that is supplied to the oil supply target device is provided below the hydraulic control apparatus, wherein a bypass oil path is formed in a body of the hydraulic control apparatus, the bypass oil path being structured in order to guide the oil from the oil supply target device from an upper surface of the body, inside the body and then discharge the oil from a side surface of the body.

摘要: A control device for a vehicular drive system controls an engine rotation speed (NE) in a way not to exceed an engine upper limit rotation speed (NELIM). The engine upper limit rotation speed is altered depending on a second electric motor rotation speed (NM2) such that a second electric motor increasing possible rotation speed (NM2max), influenced with the engine upper limit rotation speed (NELIM), is altered depending on the second electric motor rotation speed (NM2). Consequently, when the second electric motor rotation speed (NM2) is relatively high, the engine upper limit rotation speed (NELIM) can be lowered, and the second electric motor increasing possible rotation speed (NM2max) can be altered to a lower level for suppressing an increase in rotation speed of a second electric motor (M2). Thus, the second electric motor is improved in durability thereof.
