摘要: A manufacturing method for an antibacterial fiber includes the following steps. A dipping step is performed to soak a conductive fiber in a solution, in which the solution includes an ionic compound, and the ionic compound includes a metal cation. An oxidation step is performed by using the conductive fiber as an anode, such that an antibacterial material produced by the solution is adhered to a surface of the conductive fiber, in which the antibacterial material includes a metal oxide.

摘要: A method of making an antimicrobial textile comprising TiO2 nanoparticles is described. The TiO2 nanoparticles are immobilized by first treating a textile with a base, and then contacting with TiO2 nanoparticles in a solution of an alcohol and acid. The textile may be subsequently irradiated with UV light prior to use. The antimicrobial textile shows high effectiveness against the growth and proliferation of microorganisms transmitted within indoor environments.

摘要: A method for converting amorphous carbon fiber to graphitized carbon fiber, the method comprising immersing the amorphous carbon fiber into a molten anhydrous alkaline earth salt (e.g., CaCl2) and/or MgCl2) maintained at a temperature within a range of 720° C.-920° C. or 780° C.-920° C. while the amorphous carbon fiber is cathodically polarized at a voltage within a range of −2.2V to −2.8V for a period of time (e.g., 0.5-6 hours) to result in conversion of the amorphous carbon fiber to the graphitized carbon fiber, wherein the graphitized carbon fiber is at least partially graphitized.
