    摘要: A hot melt adhesive composition comprising a thermoplastic polyurethane copolymer, wherein the thermoplastic polyurethane copolymer comprises a reaction product of at least one polyester polyol; and at least one polyisocyanate; wherein the molar ratio of the NCO groups of the polyisocyanate to the OH groups of the polyester polyol is less than 0.95:1; wherein the viscosity of the thermoplastic polyurethane copolymer is 1,000 to 100,000 mPas at 160° C.; wherein the thermoplastic polyurethane copolymer is thermally stable; and wherein the thermal stability is defined as a viscosity change of less than ±10% compared to the initial viscosity of the thermoplastic polyurethane copolymer after 6 hours at 160° C.

    摘要: A process for the production of a multi-layer coating includes applying a coating layer from an aqueous pigmented coating composition A onto a substrate provided with an EDC primer and applying a base coat layer from an aqueous coating composition B overlying the coating layer. A clear coat layer is applied onto the base coat layer and the three coating layers are jointly bake-cured. The coating compositions A and B are different from each other and coating composition A comprises (i) binder solids, (ii) free polyisocyanate, (iii) a pigment content free of special effect pigments and comprising carbon black pigment and/or titanium dioxide pigment, and (iv) talcum filler.

    摘要: This disclosure relates to a method of manufacturing a cover material for a molded part of a motor vehicle and to a respective cover material. The method includes the following: providing a cover skin which is provided with a seam or perforation and comprises a face and a back; and applying a back layer to the back of the cover skin, wherein, prior to applying the back layer, the seam or perforation is sealed on the back of the cover skin by applying a liquid, gelatinous or paste-like sealing material to the back of the cover skin above the seam or perforation.
