Abstract: A refueling system for supplying fuel to at least one piece of fracturing equipment. The refueling system can have a main fuel source and at least one pressurization unit. The pressurization unit can have an optional pump, a motor, a motor fuel source, a supply coupling device and a return coupling device. The refueling system can have sensors in the one or more supply fuel lines and in the one or more return fuel lines for receiving flow rate information and pressure information, wherein the flow rate information and pressure information are compared to preset limits and a message can be transmitted when the flow rate information and pressure information falls below or exceeds the preset limits to adjust rates of operation.

Abstract: A pump control system includes a pump operable via actuation of an actuator that moves an actuating element to cause the pump to generate an intake stroke and a discharge stroke to pump media along a pipe or conduit. A sensor is disposed at the actuator and is operable to sense the position of the actuating element during operation of the actuator and pump. A controller is operable to control the actuator. The controller, responsive to an output of the sensor, determines the current position of the actuating element and automatically controls the actuator to provide a selected performance of the pump.

Abstract: A discharge valve of a high-pressure pump is placed in a discharge passage and is openable to enable flow of fuel from a pressurizing chamber to a discharge outlet in response to a fuel pressure difference between the pressurizing chamber side and the discharge outlet side. A relief is placed in a relief passage. The relief passage communicates between a branching portion, which is located on a side of the discharge valve where the discharge outlet is placed in the discharge passage, and a return portion, which merges with a damper chamber. The relief valve is openable to enable flow of the fuel from the branching portion to the return portion in response to a fuel pressure difference between the branching portion side and the return portion side. A discharge passage orifice is placed between the discharge valve and the branching portion in the discharge passage and constricts a flow passage cross-sectional area of the discharge passage.

Abstract: A new pump design is described. The pump features a casing with a continuous enclosure extending from a power end of the casing to a fluid end of the casing for housing the reciprocating assembly of the pump, which includes a crankshaft, a plurality of control rods coupled to the crankshaft, and a plurality of crossheads coupled to the control rods. A detachable lid is attached to the casing at the power end and the fluid end of the casing, and encloses the reciprocating assembly. An alignment plate oriented substantially parallel to a stroke axis of the pump maintains alignment of the crossheads.

Abstract: A pump cartridge for mounting on a drive rotor includes a roller assembly having first and second hubs maintained in a spaced apart relationship and defining an axis, and a plurality of planetary rollers arranged in a circumferentially spaced orientation about the axis, the rollers mounted to the hubs displacement radially outward. One or more compressible tubing lines are interposed between the rollers and an interior wall of the pump cartridge housing. The housing and the first and second hubs collectively define a passageway through which a spreader on the drive rotor extends and may be rotated relative to the roller assembly to displace the rollers radially outward to thereby compress the tubing lines against the interior wall. A coupling feature on the first hub engages a roller driving feature of the rotor, so that rotation of the rotor causes rotation of the roller assembly about the axis.
