摘要: The invention comprises a method for determining degree of modified potency of a medicament. A medicine is a medicament comprising a therapeutic component and a homeopathic, i.e., activated-potentiated, component, wherein the activated-potentiated component has some physical, chemical or biological affect on the therapeutic component and/or the pharmacological efficacy thereof. The therapeutic component is biologically related to the starting substance of the homeopathic component. An analytical measurement of at least one characteristic parameter of the therapeutic form is made prior to its interaction with the activated-potentiated form. The same analytical measurement(s) are made and after interaction between the therapeutic and activated-potentiated forms. This data is used to confirm the presence of any modified potency is caused by the presence of molecular form in the activated-potentiated form. Further, the claimed analytical measurement of at least one characteristic parameter of the therapeutic form prior to its interaction with the activated-potentiated form and again after such interaction serves to quantify the degree of modifying potency associated with the activated-potentiated form in relative dimensionless activity units (release activity).

The contents sensor unit has at least one contents sensor configured to send and receive sonic pulses to determine a state of contents in a container. The contents sensor unit is configured to send a signal communicating a state of the contents in a container. The container-carrying unit is configured to hold a container in substantial alignment with the contents sensors to expose the contents to the sonic pulses. The control unit is operatively connected to the contents sensor unit. The control unit is configured to receive the signal communicating the state of the contents and to compare the state of the contents with a desired state of the contents.

摘要: A spectroscopic chemical compound identification system includes a container, a memory, a spectrometer, and a processor. The container receives unknown chemical compound. The memory stores a plurality of spectral signatures corresponding to known chemical compounds. The spectrometer measures a spectral signature of the unknown chemical compound through the container. The processor is connected to the memory and the spectrometer, performs a comparison of the spectral signature with at least one of the plurality of spectral signatures, and determines the identity of the unknown chemical compound from the comparison. The system can be housed in a portable handheld housing. A chemical compound can include a pharmaceutical or controlled substance. The system can be also be used to determine if a pharmaceutical or controlled substance is present within an unknown mixture of chemical compounds.
