摘要: A method and apparatus for continuously forming primed circuits, the apparatus including a cylindrical drum rotatable about a generally vertical axis and a tank for holding an electrolytic plating solution. The tank is dimensioned to surround a lower portion of the drum and immerse the lower portion of the drum in the electrolytic plating solution. Means for introducing electrolytic solution into the tank are provided, and a plurality of metallic anodes are disposed within the tank surrounding and facing the lower portion of the drum defining a generally uniform gap therebetween. A plurality of cathodes are disposed above the tank and facing an upper portion of the drum, the cathodes being biased toward the drum. The apparatus is adapted to receive a movable continuous flexible web having a thin layer of conductive metal on one side thereof. The metal layer is masked to expose a plurality of patterns aligned along the web and a continuous strip of exposed metal along one edge of the web. The web is to be positioned against the drum with the metal layer facing away therefrom and with the exposed patterns extending into the gap and facing the anodes. The continuous strip of exposed metal is above the tank and facing the cathodes wherein the cathodes are biased into electrical contact therewith as the web moves through the apparatus.

摘要: A plurality of substituted styrene monomers, for example, urea substituted, is disclosed as well as polymers and copolymers made therefrom. Various thermoset plastic components can be reacted with the monomers, polymers, or copolymers of these substituted styrenes, as for example epoxy, which form a crosslinked system useful as an adhesive or a fiber reinforced substrate for circuit boards. The monomers are made by reacting aminostyrene type monomers with isocyanate containing molecules. One specific monomer is made by reacting a substituted aminostyrene with a monoisocyanate and has the following formula ##STR1##

摘要: A highly stable high-voltage output buffer is provided which may be manufactured using standard CMOS technology. As part of the invention, the effects of voltage drift at one or more of the nodes formed between series connected P or N-channel MOSFET devices are generally reduced or eliminated. The present invention includes compensation circuitry which reduces the effects of parasitic coupling within the MOSFET devices, and which serves to compensate for any voltage drift which may occur at the nodes between series connected devices. In addition, the present invention provides a method and apparatus for increasing the current sourcing capability of a CMOS high-voltage output buffer, even under low supply V.sub.vf conditions, without necessarily increasing the size of the output device. Furthermore, the present invention provides a method and apparatus for reducing the effects of coupling along a shared bias line between a plurality of high-voltage output buffers in accordance with the present invention.

摘要: A system for filtering solid-containing plating waste comprises a reusable filter media belt that travels in a continuous loop between a filter tray, where filtration takes place, and a multi-compartmented cleaning tank where the belt is cleaned for reuse. Each compartment in the tank is substantially closed at its lower end, and open at its upper end. The belt travels in and out of each of the tank compartments in sequence, being subjected to a liquid cleaning treatment in each by contacting sprays and/or bath immersion before being returned to the filter tray for reuse. A wringer is provided at the top of each compartment through which the belt passes before proceeding to the next compartment in order to isolate the treatment liquids from each other.
