    摘要: In a method for operating a reciprocating-piston internal combustion engine having internal exhaust gas energy recuperation, a cylinder head recuperator is heated up during an exhaust cycle by hot exhaust gas flowing through the cylinder head recuperator prior to being exhausted from the cylinder via an exhaust valve. During an intake cycle, fresh charge flows into the power chamber of the cylinder by passing around a cylinder head recuperator. During the subsequent compression stroke, the cylinder head recuperator is moved out of a recess formed in the cylinder head such that some of the compressed charge can flow into the recess. Near the end of the compression stroke, the cylinder head recuperator is moved back into the recess so that compressed charge located in the recess is forced to flow through the hot cylinder head recuperator and thereby be heated up immediately before ignition of the compressed charge.

A valve lever having an outer lever and an inner lever is provided and has a first end region supported on a fixed component, and a second end region for actuating a valve. The U-shaped outer lever includes two arms and a crosspiece that faces the fixed component. At least one of the arms is provided with an abutment surface for contacting the at least one cam. The inner lever is mounted on a free end of the outer lever between the arms, and has an abutment surface, for contacting cams, that is disposed between the mounting axis of the inner lever on the arms and the support of the first end region of the valve lever on the fixed component. A blocking device is provided for fixing the crosspiece of the outer lever on an end of the inner lever remote from the valve, this end being supported on the fixed component and containing the blocking device.

    摘要: A method and a device for the variable control of a valve of an internal combustion engine, in particular for a throttlefree load control of an Otto carburetor engine via a lift function of one or several intake valves per cylinder are presented. Thereby the cams of two camshafts which normally rotate at the same speed are followed by a feeler-device in the manner of an adder and the movement of the feeler-device is transferred to an actuating device for actuating the valve. The cams of one of the camshafts which operates as the opening camshaft is provided with a flat section and a lobe which pass into each other via an opening portion. The cam of the other one of the camshafts which operates as the closing camshaft is provided with a lobe and a flat section which pass into each other via a closing portion. For altering the lift and/or opening duration of the valve the phase relationship between the camshafts is changeable. The feeler-device is, after the closing of the valve, held in contact with the cam of only one of the camshafts, and through this the actuating device is held in contact with the valve. The cam of the other camshaft gets out of contact with the feeler device after the closing of the valve and at the beginning of opening of the valve again gets into contact with the feeler device.

    摘要: In a method for controlling power output of an internal combustion engine with an external ignition system, a fuel injection system is provided for injecting in an injection step fuel into the combustion chamber. At least one inlet valve for each cylinder of the combustion engine is provided for determining the charge input of the combustion chamber during an intake stroke of the internal combustion engine. With a control device a relative phase position between a first and second camshaft operating at identical rpm is set for determining an opening function of the inlet valve. The opening function is defined by the stroke and duration of the open state of the inlet valve. A position of the control device is adjusted according to an accelerator pedal position and operational parameter of the combustion engine. The ignition timing and/or the amount of injected fuel is controlled directly according to the position of the control device and the rpm of the combustion engine.

The engine is operated by flowing-in fresh charge into the compression chamber while increasing the volume of the compression chamber, compressing the fresh charge while decreasing the volume of the compression chamber, pushing-over the compressed fresh charge into the flow-through chamber, pushing-out the fresh charge into the power chamber, combusting the fresh charge while increasing the volume of the power chamber and discharging the combusted charge while decreasing the volume of the power chamber. The flow-through chamber volume increases during at least a part of the pushing-over step and, at the end thereof, the volume is less than 15% of its maximum volume.

A valve lever (6) transmits the respective generated first and second amounts of valve opening distance to the valve. A locking device (50) releasably locks the mounting pin and cam follower in the respective first and second rotational positions.

    摘要: An apparatus for switching off a load change valve of an internal combustion engine has a camshaft with a cam disk and a pivot lever pivotably connected to an engine part and pivoted back and forth by the cam disk. An actuator is moveably guided in the pivot lever for actuating the load change valve. A coupling member moveable in the pivot lever has two end positions defining a coupling and a decoupling position. In the coupling position the coupling member rigidly connects the actuator and the pivot lever. In the decoupling position the coupling member releases the actuator from the pivot lever to switch off the load change valve. A device for moving the coupling member into the coupling position and the decoupling position is provided. It has a coupling cam rotating at a same speed as the cam disk. It also has a coupling lever acting on the coupling member. The coupling cam acts on the coupling lever such that its cam projection moves the coupling member from one end position into the other end position and back into the one end position when the pivot lever follows a base contour of the cam disk. A catch device is arranged such that, when the catch device is activated, a portion of the coupling lever upon actuation by the coupling cam is secured by the catch device so that the coupling member remains in the other end position.
