Abstract:
An external air-cooled heat exchanger includes two air channels going towards different directions and not connecting with each other, a condensing wind channel and an external air channel. Each air channel has a plurality of air chambers that are alternately arranged so that between each two neighboring air chambers of the same air channel is an air chamber of the other air channel change to a period; A clothes dryer includes an air outlet connected to the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger is connected to a water collection box, the water collection box is connected to an air inlet, a filter is arranged between the air outlet and the heat exchanger, and a drying fan and the heating unit are arranged between the water collection box and the air inlet.
Abstract:
A hybrid database table is stored as both a row and a column store. One or more techniques may be employed alone or in combination to enhance performance of the hybrid table by regulating access to, and/or the size of, the processing-intensive column store data. For example during an insert operation, the column store data may be searched for a uniqueness violation only after certain filtering and/or boundary conditions have been considered. In another technique, a hybrid table manager may control movement of data to the column store based upon considerations such as frequency of access, or underlying business logic. In still another technique, querying of the hybrid table may result in a search of the column store data only after an initial search of row store data fails to return a result.
Abstract:
A tissue expander adapted for increasing overlying tissue surface area and size of an associated perforator vessel includes an inflatable bladder adapted to be temporarily implanted subcutaneously in a patient at a donor site. The bladder forms a recess for receiving therein a perforator vessel. Bladder volume is increased incrementally over time to increase overlying tissue surface area and size of the associated perforator vessel. The expanded tissue and/or the perforator vessel can be harvested for use as an island flap, a free flap, or a vascular graft.

Abstract:
A method for forming a vent port in a glass panel and a glass panel product manufactured using the same. The vent port has no protruding vent pipe, such that the vent port discharging gas from a sealed space to the outside is formed in either one of a pair of plate glasses separated in a thickness-direction to form the sealed space therebetween, produced by: forming an exhaust hole in either one of the plate glasses; vertically inserting a vent-pipe-type sealing material into the upper portion of the exhaust hole; discharging gas from a space between the plate glasses to the outside; heating the sealant member such that the sealing material is converted into fluid and the exhaust hole is closed by the sealing material having collapsed after being heated; and solidifying the sealing material remaining in the exhaust hole, ensuring good sealing properties without using a protruding vent pipe.
Abstract:
A semiconductor device comprises a substrate and first and second stress-generating epitaxial regions on the substrate and spaced apart from each other. A channel region is on the substrate and positioned between the first and second stress-generating epitaxial regions. A gate electrode is on the channel region. The channel region is an epitaxial layer, and the first and second stress-generating epitaxial regions impart a stress on the channel region.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for treating cancer, comprising at least one selected from deoxyribonucleic acids (DNA) for encoding small interfering RNA (siRNA) which complementarily binds to the base sequence of the transcript (mRNA transcript) of the FLJ25416 gene, represented by sequence number 3, sequence number 5, and sequence number 7 to inhibit the intracellular expression of the FLJ25416 gene, antisense RNA which inhibits expression of the FLJ25416 gene, and short hairpin RNA (shRNA) which inhibits expression of the FLJ25416 gene. As the siRNA, which is complementary to the base sequence of the transcript (mRNA transcript) of the FLJ25416 gene, the antisense RNA, and the shRNA, according to the present invention, inhibit expression of the FLJ25416 gene which is known to be expressed in cancer cells, and thus kill cancer cells, the composition of the present invention can be used as a novel anti-cancer agent.
Abstract:
An earphone jack drive circuit applied in an electronic device is provided. The earphone jack drive circuit includes a mute circuit; a micro-controller including a detect pin and a control pin; a delay switch circuit including a resistance, a capacitance, an npn transistor and a first current-limiting resistance. During the plugging in or the unplugging out of the earphone, any momentary logic high of the detect pin charges the capacitance, the capacitance discharges when the detect pin is set to be logic low. For a period, the npn transistor is kept on, the connector of the npn transistor is set to be logic low, the input port of the mute circuit is set to be logic low, thereby the mute circuit is controlled to perform the mute mode during the period to eliminate the popping noises of connection and disconnection.
Abstract:
A non-volatile memory device may include a first wordline on a substrate, an insulating layer on the first wordline, and a second wordline on the insulating layer so that the insulating layer is between the first and second wordlines. A bit pillar may extend adjacent the first wordline, the insulating layer, and the second wordline in a direction perpendicular with respect to a surface of the substrate, and the bit pillar may be electrically conductive. In addition, a first memory cell may include a first resistance changeable element electrically coupled between the first wordline and the bit pillar, and a second memory cell may include a second resistance changeable element electrically coupled between the second wordline and the bit pillar. Related methods and systems are also discussed.
