    摘要: An anti-settling agent composition for aqueous coating materials, comprising [A] a polyamide which is obtained by polymerizing a diamine having 2-12 carbon atoms and an excess amount, relative to diamine, of either a dicarboxylic acid having 4-36 carbon atoms or a mixture of a dicarboxylic acid having 4-36 carbon atoms and a monocarboxylic acid having 2-22 carbon atoms, and [B] a hydrophobic organic compound which is a hydrocarbon modified with 1-3 hydroxyl groups and/or carboxyl groups and having 10-54 carbon atoms, and which has a freezing point of 20° C. or less or does not have a definite freezing point. The anti-settling agent is able to be easily dispersed in a coating material even if directly added into the coating material without being diluted when added into the coating material, and which imparts the coating material with excellent anti-settling properties.

    摘要: A rheology control agent for a curable composition includes: a diamide compound (A) and/or a hydrogenated castor oil (A′), the diamide compound (A) being obtained by condensation reaction between a diamine component (A1) and a monocarboxylic acid component (A2); and a polyamide compound (B) obtained by polycondensation of an amine component (B1) and a carboxylic acid component (B2). The amine component (B1) contains at least one amine selected from the group consisting of a diamine and a triamine having 2 to 54 carbon atoms. The carboxylic acid component (B2) contains at least one carboxylic acid selected from the group consisting of a dicarboxylic acid and a tricarboxylic acid having 4 to 54 carbon atoms. The polyamide compound (B) is obtained by polycondensation of at least one of the amine component (B1) and the carboxylic acid component (B2) containing polymerized fatty acids.

[Solution] The surface control agent for a water-based coating includes: a copolymer containing, as constituent monomers, a dibasic acid ester (A) having a polymerizable unsaturated double bond in an amount of 10% by mass or more and 99% by mass or less, and an ether group-containing polymerizable unsaturated monomer (B) having a (meth)acryloyl group, a vinyl ether group, or an allyl group in an amount of 1% by mass or more and 90% by mass or less, wherein the copolymer has a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000 or more and 100,000 or less.

    摘要: This invention provides a viscosity modifier for high concentration dispersion of inorganic fine particles which can reduce, by giving excellent viscosity modifying function to a high concentration dispersion of inorganic fine particles (e.g., printing ink composition, functional paste composition or paint composition, of high concentration dispersion of inorganic fine particles), the occurrence of inconvenience in a printing step or coating step for the manufacture of components or substrates, and also provides a high concentration dispersion of inorganic fine particles which contains said viscosity modifier. This viscosity modifier comprises, as a main component, a reaction product having 2 to 20 phosphate groups or carboxyl groups in molecular structure, which reaction product is produced from a reaction between a polyol having two to six hydroxyl groups and a phosphate group-introducing material or a carboxyl group-introducing material at a molar ratio of hydroxyl group to phosphate group-introducing material or carboxyl group-introducing material of 3:1 to 1:1.

    摘要: A rheology control agent for a curable composition may include: a diamide compound (A) and/or a hydrogenated castor oil (A′), the diamide compound (A) being obtained by condensation reaction between a diamine component (A1) and a monocarboxylic acid component (A2); and a polyamide compound (B) obtained by polycondensation of an amine component (B1) and a carboxylic acid component (B2). The diamine component (A1) may be selected from the group consisting of diamines with 2 to 12 carbon atoms. The monocarboxylic acid component (A2) may be selected from the group consisting of hydrogenated castor oil fatty acids and linear saturated fatty acids. The polyamide compound (B) may have a weight-average molecular weight from 2,000 to 21,000. A cured product of the curable composition may be used for a sealant or an adhesive.
