摘要:
In vivo devices, systems and methods for in vivo immunoassay include inserting into a patient's body lumen an in vivo diagnostic device comprising a housing. The housing of the device comprises a chamber, and a chromatography strip for immunoassay of a body lumen substance. The housing may further comprise a casing for the chromatography strip. The casing may comprise a first opening to allow entrance of in vivo liquids into the casing and a second opening into the chamber. The housing may further comprise a sensor to sense a property of the chromatography strip. Following insertion of the device into the patient's body, a sample is collected and the immunoassay is performed in vivo in areas of pathological lesions for a predetermined period of time. An in vivo image may be acquired or other data such as colorimetric or intensity data may be obtained from the chromatography strip.

Novel markers for ovarian cancer that are both sensitive and accurate. These markers are overexpressed and/or differentially expressed in ovarian cancer specifically, as opposed to normal ovarian tissue. The measurement of these markers, alone or in combination, in patient samples provides information that the diagnostician can correlate with a probable diagnosis, in ovarian cancer. The markers of the present invention, alone or in combination, show a high degree of differential detection between ovarian cancer and non-cancerous states.
摘要:
Novel splice variant nucleic acid sequences. The novel splice variants and their nucleic acid sequences according to the present invention may optionally be used for diagnosis of a variant-detectable disease as described herein.
摘要:
Novel splice variants as diagnostic markers, preferably membrane-bound. The novel variants according to the present invention may optionally be used for diagnosis of Marker-detectable disease as described herein, optionally through immunohistochemistry.

Novel markers for cardiac disease that are both sensitive and accurate. These markers are differentially and/or specifically expressed in cardiac tissue, as opposed to other types of tissues, optionally and preferably including muscle tissue. The measurement of these markers, alone or in combination, in patient samples provides information that the diagnostician can correlate with a probable diagnosis of cardiac disease, including pathology and/or damage, including acute and/or chronic damage. The markers of the present invention, alone or in combination, show a high degree of differential detection between cardiac disease states and non-cardiac disease states.

Novel markers for lung cancer that are both sensitive and accurate. These markers are overexpressed in lung cancer specifically, as opposed to normal lung tissue. The measurement of these markers, alone or in combination, in patient samples provides information that the diagnostician can correlate with a probable diagnosis of lung cancer. The markers of the present invention, alone or in combination, show a high degree of differential detection between lung cancer and non-cancerous states.

Devices, systems and methods for detecting in vivo pathology are provided. An in vivo sensing device comprises a reacting layer with at least one type of binding agent attached thereon, a sensor configured for sensing an optical change occurring on the reacting substrate, and at least one illumination source. In-vivo fluids are in constant contact with the reacting substrate so that in vivo marker indicating pathology may bind to the binding agent attached onto the reacting layer and may be viewed by the sensor.
