    Abstract: Downhole formation pressure testing systems are provide. The systems include a drawdown pump, a probe configured to engage with a borehole wall and extract fluid from a formation, and a control element operably connected to the probe and the drawdown pump to perform a formation pressure testing operation. The formation pressure testing operation includes extracting a fluid from the formation for at least three drawdown intervals, monitoring a fluid pressure for a response interval at an end of each drawdown interval, measuring a fluid pressure at an end of each response interval to obtain a data point for each response interval, wherein each response interval is of the same duration, and wherein at least three data points are obtained, and performing a best fit analysis on the at least three data points, wherein the best fit analysis calculates a formation pressure.

    Abstract: Livestock insect-removal systems and methods. According to one embodiment, the system may comprise a structure with a defined path for passage of livestock. The system may comprise a container removably attached to the structure and a vacuum device within the container configured to generate a change in pressure within the container.     Abstract: An anti-fuse memory cell having a variable thickness gate dielectric. The variable thickness dielectric has a thick portion and a thin portion, where the thin portion has at least one dimension less than a minimum feature size of a process technology. The thin portion can be rectangular in shape or triangular in shape. The anti-fuse transistor can be used in a two-transistor memory cell having an access transistor with a gate dielectric substantially identical in thickness to the thick portion of the variable thickness gate dielectric of the anti-fuse transistor.

    Abstract: A method of controlling the molecular weight of poly(cyclic)olefin (norbornene-type) polymers and activating the polymerization thereof with a single material is provided. Such method include adding a chain transfer/activating agent to a mixture of monomer(s), catalyst, solvent and an optional cocatalyst and polymerizing the mixture to form a polymer. It is shown that the amount of chain transfer/activating agent in the mixture can serve to control the molecular weight of the resulting polymer, its percent conversion or both, and in some embodiments the optical density of the resulting polymer.

    Abstract: An anti-fuse memory cell having a variable thickness gate oxide. The variable thickness gate oxide has a thick gate oxide portion and a thin gate oxide portion, where the thing gate oxide portion has at least one dimension less than a minimum feature size of a process technology.
