摘要: A communication system for a vehicle comprises a mechanism for sensing a motion status of a vehicle, a control device, plurality of data acquisition sensors, and one or more alerting device activation circuits. The communication system is customizable with the plurality of data acquisition sensors and one or more alerting device activation circuits based upon the needs of the vehicle. In some embodiments, the communication system is customized before it is installed within the vehicle. Alternatively, in some embodiments, the communication system is customizable after it is installed within the vehicle by turning on and/or turning off one or more of the data acquisition sensors and one or more alerting device activation circuits. The communication system is able to be implemented on a bus or other such fleet vehicles.

摘要: A communication system for a vehicle comprises a mechanism for sensing a change in speed of the vehicle and a control device for sending a signal to a headlight activation circuit to modulate the vehicle's headlights based upon the change in speed. In particular, a headlight of the vehicle is able to be modulated as the vehicle reduces speed and/or is decelerating as it approaches an intersection. Additionally, the headlight of the vehicle is able to be modulated as the vehicle accelerates from a stopped position or reaches a certain traveling speed. The headlight activation circuit is able to modulate the headlight between an on position and an off position or modulate the headlight between a high beam position and a low beam position. Consequently, the vehicle is better seen as it approaches likely congestion areas such as intersections and slowing or stopped traffic and attempts to enter traffic.

摘要: Electrochemical indicators are configured to indicate a variable such as time and/or a temperature excursion. In some embodiments, the electrochemical indicators comprise an anode layer and a cathode layer which contact an electrolyte to activate each indicator. In some embodiments, the electrochemical indicator comprises an electrically isolated RFID chip and an RFID antenna which are placed in electrical communication in response to the external variable. The completed RFID tag may then be read by an RFID reader. A completed RFID tag may also be incorporated within the electrochemical indicators comprising an anode layer and a cathode layer and where the RFID tag is unshielded and becomes readable as the indicator expires.

摘要: An electronically readable device and system is incorporated within and/or attached to an object to validate and/or authenticate the object. Upon activation of the device one or more codes encoded within the device are revealed and are able to be scanned by an electronic device. The electronically readable code changes, such that for each period of time the code is different than a previous period and only the database knows in advance what the code should be for a given period. The scanned code is uploaded to the database where it is compared to a stored code to verify that the object is authentic.

摘要: A communication system for a vehicle comprises a mechanism for sensing a braking of the vehicle and a control device for sending a signal to a headlight activation circuit to modulate the vehicle's headlights based upon the braking of the vehicle. In particular, a headlight of the vehicle is able to be modulated based upon an application of one or both of a front brake and a rear brake.

摘要: A communication system for a vehicle includes a vehicle speed sensor configured to emit a periodic function with a parameter correlated to the speed of the vehicle, an acceleration monitoring system, a braking system engagement detector to detect a braking status of the vehicle, an alerting device capable of signaling other drivers of a deceleration condition of the vehicle, and a control device. The acceleration monitoring system is configured to compute the acceleration of the vehicle from variations in the parameter of the periodic function of the vehicle speed sensor and to output a deceleration status of the vehicle. The control device is coupled to the acceleration monitoring system, the braking system engagement detector, and the alerting device, wherein the acceleration monitoring system sends signals to the control device and the control device operates the alerting device in a manner dependent on the deceleration status of the vehicle.
