Abstract:
A resin layer RN is bonded to a corner of the other end of at least one of an anode electrode A and a cathode electrode K and an outer edge of a corner of the other end of the other of the anode electrode A and the cathode electrode K is not located on a straight line passing an outer edge of the corner of the other end of the at least one and being parallel to a thickness direction of the electrode. In another embodiment, an outer edge of a corner of the other end of at least one of the anode electrode A and the cathode electrode K consists of an arcuate curve when viewed from a direction parallel to the thickness direction thereof, and an outer edge of a corner of the other end of the other of the anode electrode A and the cathode electrode K is not located on a straight line passing the outer edge of the corner of the other end of the at least one and being parallel to the thickness direction.
Abstract:
An electro-chemical device comprises a package including a metal film, a battery element sealed within the package, resin layers disposed at least on the inside of a seal part of the package, and a lead extending from the battery element to the outside of the package through between the resin layers at the seal part of the package. The lead has a special form into which the resin of the resin layers bites, so that the lead is firmly buried in the resin layers, whereby the lead is fully inhibited from moving. Therefore, an electro-chemical device having a high quality can be obtained.

A scanning fire-monitoring system comprising a fire source detecting apparatus including a detecting head having a small field of vision and adapted to detect heat radiant energy from a monitoring area, a vertical scanning drive means for letting the detecting head scan within a detection range of small width on the monitoring area, and a horizontal scanning drive means for mounting said detecting head and said vertical scanning drive means thereon and rotatable in a horizontal direction and an arithmetic unit for carrying out a required signal processing and decision on the basis of a detection signal from the detecting head said detecting head being driven in vertical and horizontal directions to scan over the entire monitoring area.
Abstract:
In an electrochemical device having an element main body 1A enclosed in an exterior package 1B, a peripheral region of the exterior package 1B is provided with an elastic structure or a plurality of elastic structures R1, R2 having an elastic force in a thickness direction (Z-axis direction) of films. Each of the elastic structures R1, R2 has a first region of the exterior package 1B folded along a film outer edge, and a second region of the exterior package 1B opposed to the first region. Two ends R11, R13 (R21, R23) of the first region in a direction along the film outer edge are in contact with the second region, and between the two ends R11, R13 (R21, R23) there is a space (with a maximum height 2R) between the first region and the second region.
Abstract:
A lithium-ion secondary battery separator has a porous structure formed by laminating a second polymer layer, a first polymer layer, and a second polymer layer in sequence. The second polymer layer has a melting point lower than that of the first polymer layer. The second polymer layer has a higher molecular part formed on a side in contact with the first polymer layer and a lower molecular part formed on a side farther from the first polymer layer than is the higher molecular part. The higher and lower molecular parts have a weight-average molecular weight ratio (higher molecular part/lower molecular part) of 4 to 19 therebetween.

Abstract:
The electric double-layer capacitor has a portion where a thickness of a sealing member from a surface of an outer package to a surface of a lead in a laminating direction of electrode bodies on one side of the lead differs from that on the other side of the lead such that two leads connected to each electrode body are arranged within the same plane perpendicular to the laminating direction of the electrode bodies. The electrode bodies are laminated in the outer package such as to yield portions where only one of the planar leads of a first electrode body overlaps one of the planar leads of a second electrode body in the laminating direction of the electrode bodies in the opening part of the outer package.
